Robert R. Holcomb

WOONSOCKET- Robert R. Holcomb, 70, died October 18, 2010, at a Pittsfield, Maine hospital.
He was born February 24, 1940, in Woonsocket, son of Raymond and Rita (Bousquet) Holcomb.
He is survived by his wife, Germaine (Beauchesne) Holcomb of Parkman, Maine; a son, Michael Holcomb of Exeter, Maine; a grandson, Ryan Holcomb and his wife, Samantha of Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Guilford Center Baptist Church, Guilford, Maine, with Pastor Toby Smitherman officiating.

Teacher and aide suspended in Blackstone

BLACKSTONE — A special needs teacher and an aide employed by the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District have been placed on administrative leave pending a criminal investigation into allegations they were responsible for physically abusing four children in their classroom who suffer from severe developmental disabilities.

BELLINGHAM- Donald S. Cook 84, a longtime Bellingham resident, died Saturday October 16, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Irene A. (Thornhill) Cook, who died in 1996.
Born in Springfield, September 29, 1926 a son of the late Thomas and Frances (Frost) Cook, he lived in Bellingham since 1968.

MILLVILLE - Leonard J. Lambert, 77, of Cork Circle, died Wednesday October 6, 2010, in Milford Regional Health Center.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Josephat and Lucienna "Berard" Lambert.
Leonard worked as a Setup Man for Greys Drug, in Cleveland, Ohio, McKesson Drugs and CVS in the New England area.
He was an avid bowler, at Walnut Hill Bowl, and obtained a perfect 300 score. He also obtained a hole in one in golfing, at Disney Land in California.
He was a lifetime member of the Italian Workingmen's Club and the Cercle Laurier

WOONSOCKET- Joan M. Dangelo 70 of 1 Main St. died Friday at RI Hospital.
She was born in Medway MA, a daughter of the late Leo and Delia (Stearns) Revell. Joan was a CNA for Home Health Services for many years, and St. Antoine's Residence for ten years before retiring in 1993.
She is survived by two sons Keith Lincoln of Wrentham, MA and James Dangelo of Franklin, MA, a daughter Michelle Lincoln of Norwood MA, three brothers James and Paul Revell and Robert Melin all of MA, and a sister Irene Mallozzi of Woonsocket.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Nil Whitton, 69, of Edward Ave., Slatersville, died Monday, October 11, 2010 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Pierrette (Belanger) Whitton whom he married July 6, 1968.
Born in Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Aime and Eliza (Fortin) Whitton. Nil had lived in Woonsocket prior to moving to Slatersville in 1978.

WOONSOCKET- Raymond A. Lepine, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Theresa F. (Jacob) Vadenais-Lepine and the late Georgette ( Morrissey) Lepine.
Born in Woonsocket on August 19, 1924, he was the son of the late Emile and Mary Rose (Pincince) Lepine.
