WOONSOCKET — A Providence man was charged with assaulting a local police officer after police responded to a domestic assault complaint at the CT Plus convenience store at 11 Hamlet Ave. Tuesday.
A female victim called police to the location at 3:04 p.m. after taking shelter from her boyfriend inside the store. Patrolman John E. Raymond, responding with Lt. Edward J. Doura Jr. and other officers, found the woman at the store and determined a domestic assault had occured.
David P. Walsh
BELLINGHAM- David P. Walsh, 53, of Bellingham, MA, was called back to his Lord on Monday, November 28, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia A. (Bullock) Walsh.
David was born in Boston, MA, on December 2, 1957, the son of the late John J. and Joan E. (MacGillivray) Walsh and was raised in Braintree, MA.
Jacqueline Claire Ethier Twining
BONAIRE, GEORGIA- Jacqueline C. Twining, 83, passed away at home in Bonaire, Georgia, on November 25, 2011. Her parents, Leo Ethier and Alice Chamberland Ethier, preceded her in death.
She is a former resident of Woonsocket, RI; Uxbridge, MA; and Chicopee, MA.
Her memory is treasured by her husband, Richard Arthur Twining; her children, Bruce Twining (Marsha), GA and Carolyn Vanderwarker (Brad) VA; and grandchildren, Kristen Twining (CT) and Lauren Twining (GA).
Joanne K. Lee
COVENTRY- Joanne K. Lee 59, resident of Coventry RI, died November 24, 2011 at Bayberry Commons in Pascoag RI.
She was born on March 23, 1952 in Tewksbury MA, a daughter of the late Everett & Harriet (Mullen) Stone.
Joanne worked at Lakeview Nursing home in Burrillville as a nurses aide for several years. She was also a graduate of the Sawyer school as a lab technician. She was a den leader and served on many committees with the Cub and Boy Scout Troops #102 based in Mapleville.
