WOONSOCKET – After a three-day operation to clear dangerously heavy snow loads from the rooftops of public schools, classes are set to resume Tuesday for the first time since last Thursday – weather permitting, of course.

BURLINGTON, VT- Laure-Abel (Moreau) McNamee, 92, of Shelburne, VT, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at The Arbors in Shelburne. She was the wife of the late Edward W. McNamee.
Born July 13, 1918, in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Odilas and Dora (Boiteau) Moreau.
She graduated from St. Clare High School in 1936 and later in life obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education from the former Catholic Teachers College in Providence. Subsequently she also attained a Masters Degree in Education from Providence College.

WOONSOCKET- Roland A. Neveu 85, of Reed Ave. died Monday at Philip Hulitar Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Constance C. (Boutiette) Neveu.
Born February 27, 1925 in Woonsocket, the son of the late Albert and Glorianna (Bruneault) Neveu. Mr. Neveu lived in Woonsocket all of his life and attended Woonsocket Schools.

WOONSOCKET- Jeannine L. (Cote) Morin 77 of Jervis St. died Sunday at the Holiday. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Morin.
Mrs. Morin was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Henri and Jeannette (Mercier) Cote. Jeannine was an asssembler at American Tourister for twenty one years, working at the Woonsocket and Albion plants.

LINCOLN- Raymond L. Parenteau, 87, of Old River Road, died on February 5th, at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Jeannette (Girouard) Parenteau for sixty-three years.
Born in St. Robert, Canada, he was the youngest child of Joseph and Marie (Giguere) Parenteau.

NO. SMITHFIELD- George L. Fontaine, 81, of Smithfield Rd., died Monday, February 7, 2011 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Claudette M. (Methot) Fontaine whom were married April 11, 1953.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George J. and Blanche (Bilodeau) Fontaine.
Mr. Fontaine worked as a General Contractor for E.R. Roy General Contractors, retiring in 1998. A WWII Navy Veteran, he was an avid woodworker and reader.

BURRILLVILLE- Kevin J. Thatcher, 57, of Pascoag, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 in St. Joseph Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Catherine (O'Connell) Thatcher.
Kevin worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Rohm Products of America of Warwick. He was active in the charity organization Between The Cracks and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.

POWDER SPRINGS, GA Marceau, Roland L., age 77, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Tuesday, February 1 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was the husband of Constance (McDonnell) Marceau and the son of the late Wilfred and Alice (Blanchard) Marceau.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a communicant of St. John's Church in Slatersville and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
