PAWTUCKET — Mount St. Charles is starting to look a bit like the baseball program that captured two straight Division II state titles before joining Division I this season.
The Mounties won their second Division I game in four days on Monday, breaking open a tight contest against St. Raphael Academy with a seven-run rally in the fifth inning en route to a 10-3 victory.
Mount, now 2-3 in Division I, got a complete-game pitching performance from junior Taylor Sutherland, who scattered seven hits and settled in after allowing single runs in both the first and second innings.
Kyan Anderson’s future regarding whether he’ll play basketball at Providence College is still very much up in the air.
The same cannot be said for fellow recruit Markus Crider.
PROVIDENCE — After the bidders made their last and best offers for Landmark Medical Center in Superior Court, Judge Michael Silverstein said he expects to choose the winner “not later than very early next week.”
Silverstein is expected to make the final announcement in open court.

Archie R. Cote
WOONSOCKET- Archie R. Cote, 79 of Main St. Woonsocket passed away on Wednesday April 13th at Landmark Medical Ctr. He was the loving husband of Sandra M. (Lapierre) Cote.
Born March 21, 1932 in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Arthur & Acelia (Gagnon) Cote. He resided in Woonsocket all his life.
Sylvia E. Brunelli
FRANKLIN- Sylvia E. (Cote) Brunelli, 89, a former longtime resident of Franklin, died Palm Sunday April 17, 2011 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Louis P. Brunelli, who died in 1989.
Born in Woonsocket, May 4, 1921 a daughter of the late Edouard J. and Anita F. (Huot) Cote, she was raised and educated in Canada. She lived in Franklin for most of her life, and retired in 1991 as the manager and travel agent for the Gemini Travel Company.
Harold J. Nickerson
LITCHFIELD, NH- Harold J. Nickerson, 60, of Litchfield, NH, died Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Boston, MA on June 19, 1950, a son of the late Harold and Catherine (Crosskill) Nickerson, Sr., and had been a resident of Litchfield for the past 10 years, formerly living in Middleboro, MA.

BELLINGHAM- Dorothy O. (McCutcheon) Adam, 85, of Bellingham and formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Timothy Daniels House of Holliston, MA with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Adam.
Born in Burrillville, RI on October 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Annie (Simpson) McCutcheon.
F. Pauline Yuele Gracy
BELLINGHAM- F. Pauline (Young) Yuele Gracy, 76, of Bellingham, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center after being stricken at home. She was the beloved wife of Franklin N. Gracy, Jr. and the late Paul F. Yuele.
Born in Norfolk, VA on August 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Florence P. (Taylor) Young.
