WOONSOCKET - Florence (Houle) Boisvert, 93, of Woonsocket, died Friday, September 23, 2011 in the St. Antoine Residence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Alphonse Boisvert.
Born in Upton, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Herve and Opalma (Fontaine) Houle. She lived in Woonsocket for most of her life.
WOONSOCKET - Roy L. Brunelle 45, of Willow St. died September 20th at Phillip Hulitar Center. He was born in Woonsocket a son of Helena (Hebert) Brunelle of Woonsocket and the late Roger E. Brunelle. Roy was a dough master for Pizza Hut for two years before retiring in 2010 due to illness. He had previously worked as a CNA at Hebert Nursing Home for thirteen years. Roy enjoyed GEO Caching.com and fly fishing. Roy was a loving person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
HARRISVILLE - Mary A. (Archambault) Lesperance Smith, 57, of Chapel St, died Sat. Sept. 24, at Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, surrounded by her loving family. Her first husband Michael E. Lesperance died in 1994.
Robert E Croteau 73, of St. Joseph St. died Thursday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Lucille A. (St. Germain) Croteau. Born in Woonsocket ,he was the son of the late Ernest and Alice (Lacroix) Croteau. Bob was an auto body repair man for the former Lacroix Auto Body in Providence for twenty years, he had previously worked for UniRoyal for sixteen years. He served in the National Guard. He is a graduated of RI Trade Shop School. Bob was an avid Bingo player and also a Bingo Caller at Precious Blood Church for twenty years.
Cecilia Y. (Beaudry) Nichols, 97, of The Herbert Nursing Home, Smithfield and formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent S. Nichols deceased in 2002. Born in Woonsocket on June 8, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Albina (Allard) Beaudry. She was the loving mother of Robert V. Nichols of Warwick, RI, Donald E.
