PAWTUCKET â€“ As his players danced to loud music while taking swigs of beer in the other room, Arnie Beyeler stood in the managerâ€™s office, his t-shirt completely soaked after several players cornered him near the visitors dugout and dumped beer all over him.

WOONSOCKET â€“ A Providence County grand jury Friday indicted a city man in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred this summer.
Abdoulie Njie, 34, of 62 South St., is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of second-degree sexual assault and one count of witness intimidation, according to Attorney General Peter Kilmartin's office.
The crimes took place between July 10 and July 25, the indictment says.
MILLVILLE â€” It was a moment that Millville's senior citizens had been waiting years for. The town's brand new Senior Center opened in June of 2007 and, for the first time, there was a bigger, more modern space where they could get their blood pressure checked, participate in a knitting groups or exercise classes or get information about Social Security benefits.
Now, that same building is slated to shut its doors on Dec. 31 due to budget cuts and a decision by voters in June to reject two Proposition 2Â˝ override ballot questions.
