BURRILLVILLE (AP) — Police say a mechanic has been killed after he was found pinned beneath a minivan and a hydraulic lift at an auto repair shop in Burrillville.
Police identified the man as 47-year-old James Cash.
Lt. John Connors of the Burrillville Police Department told NBC 10 that police received a report at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday from a woman checking up on Cash.
Police found him pinned underneath a minivan that had been improperly supported on a hydraulic lift. Police said the lift buckled and the minivan and lift fell on top of Cash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
