Lincoln's Mayer will bring softball talents to Virginia

LINCOLN — Fielding phone calls, requests and inquiries from collegiate softball coaches are nothing new to Mark and Marie Mayer, the parents of Lindsay Mayer, Lincoln High's magnificent junior shortstop.
They actually started during her eighth-grade year; that's when University of South Florida head coach Ken Erikson asked Mark and Marie if they would bring their daughter to the Tampa campus so they could meet.

WOONSOCKET- A Memorial Service for Sheila M. (Keefe) Roberts, 58, of Woonsocket RI, who died Wednesday (March 14, 2012) will be held Tuesday (March 20th) at 6PM at The Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield RI. Memorial donations may be made to The Ocean State Baptist Church.
