PROVIDENCE – The Lincoln police officer convicted of kicking a handcuffed woman in the head during a security detail at Twin River has escaped jail time for the offense.

WOONSOCKET- Judith Ann (Benson) McGarrigle, age 70, passed away on Friday March 9, 2012 at the Home and Hospice Care of R.I. with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. McGarrigle
Born in Milan, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ivan and Alma Jean (Crisman) Benson.
She worked in Food Service for RIARC for 18 years, prior to retiring.

BELLINGHAM- Ruth T. "Ruthie" (Hoyle) Morin, 84, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her loving family and best friends by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Philibert A. "Phil" Morin, Jr.
Born in Boston, MA on January 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (McKenzie) Hoyle.
