Those are just some of the questions that will be raised and answered by some of the state’s political, media and good-government luminaries at Operation Clean Government’s 2012 Candidate’s School.

PAWTUCKET – Yes, most of the excitement and suspense of the presidential primary process has fizzled out now that Mitt Romney is the presumptive Republican nominee to challenge Democratic President Obama in November. But Rhode Island is going ahead with its primary on Tuesday.
President Obama is unopposed on the Democratic side, but there is a column for uncommitted delegates.
PROVIDENCE (AP) — The daughter of former Providence Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci Jr. was found dead Friday morning of an apparent overdose, police said.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death of 38-year-old Nicole Cianci, police Cmdr. Thomas Oates III said.
Authorities responded to a residence in the city's Federal Hill neighborhood for a report of an overdose and found Nicole Cianci, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Oates said. He said she was with a male roommate, whom she had been living with for the last few weeks.
