In the year-plus quest that has taken Ryan Kalish to the far reaches of dealing with injuries and back again, the Red Sox outfield prospect has learned that itâs best to not get his spirits up too much or sink too low. On the subject of looking ahead, i.e. placing a definitive date on when he might return to game action, Kalish prefers to stay in the moment.
When team officials inform Kalish that heâs passed every single checkpoint, only then will he be allowed to vacate the Fort Myers, Fla. premise thatâs served as his holding cell for some time now.
WOONSOCKET â Two teams heading in opposite directions met up Friday with Mount St. Charles maintaining its winning ways courtesy of a come-from-behind 5-3 triumph at Lincoln Highâs expense.

Paul R. Beaulieu
WOONSOCKET- Paul R. Beaulieu, 58, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 39 years of Maryann (Tariela) Beaulieu.
Born in Woonsocket on August 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Maurice Beaulieu and the late Vivian O. (Remillard) Beaulieu Bernier.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Raymond Kucharski, 93, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the St. Antoine Residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Coricelli) Kucharski for more than 65 years.
Born Sept. 29. 1918 in So. Bellingham, MA., he was the son of the late Peter & Tekla (Hywak) Kucharski.
Before entering the St. Antoine Residence, he resided in Woonsocket for 50 years and then was a resident of Deerfield Commons in No. Smithfield.
Lucien J. Turenne
CHARLOTTE, NC- Mr. Turenne, 89, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday morning, April 26, 2012 at his home.
He was born March 14, 1923 in Manville, Rhode Island, one of five children to the late Adjutor Theodore Turenne and Berthe Favreau Turenne.
Mr. Turenne served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II and worked as a mechanical engineer with the Celanese Corporation for thirty-three years.
Henry R. Scott
WOONSOCKET- Henry R. "Butsy" Scott of Woonsocket, died on May 2, 2012 at the age of 93. Henry was the husband of the late Irene B. (Provencal) Scott.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Henry and Lillian (Bernhard) Scott.
After his service in the Army, he managed deliveries for both Mullen's and Carney's furniture stores, was a maintenance mechanic at Uniroyal Tires (Rubber Shop) and retired as Building Superintendent for the Woonsocket Call. In his retirement he continued to work at the RI ARC until the age of 86.
