Catherine H. Green
BLACKSTONE- Catherine H. (Zerva) Green, 84, of Blackstone, died June 25, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Ernest G. Green.
Born in Blackstone, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Bailey) Zerva.
She lived in Blackstone for most of her life having spent from 1976-1990 living in Melbourne, FL.
She dedicated much of her life to running her family's business Zerva's Dairy Farm in Blackstone.
WARWICK- Knight, Gisele V. 85 passed away June 22, 2012. She was the wife of Irving Knight.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late George and Arcelia Vanasse.
WOONSOCKET- Joseph E. St. Germain, 76, of Mill St., Woonsocket, died Thursday at Woonsocket Health Center.
Born in Blackstone, he was a son of the late Emile St. Germain and Blanche Ida (Bertrand) St. Germain. He was raised in Blackstone and lived much of his adult life in Woonsocket.
Mr. St. Germain served in the Unite States Air Force for over 21 years. His Air Force career saw him stationed in many places throughout the world including England, Korea, Vietnam, Japan and various postings in the United States.
Joanne E. Girard
HARRISVILLE- Joanne E. (Armstrong) Girard, 51, of Harrisville passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the former wife of the late Michael W. Girard, Sr.
Born in Woonsocket on December 2, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Pauline Y. (Brunelle) Armstrong.
Mary A. Costa
CUMBERLAND- Mary A. (Klucznik) Costa, age 80, passed away June 23, 2012 at the Oakland Grove Healthcare Center.
She was the beloved wife 57 years of Manuel J. Costa Jr., the devoted mother to Manuel "Mick" Costa of Stow, MA and Maria Gazaille of Woonsocket and loving grandmother of Jake, Matthew, Eric and Christina.
Mary was also the sister of Adella Burns, Phyllis Newton, Julie Dudson, Ann Wetherald, the late John Klucznik, the late Blias Kluznick, and sister-in-law to Rosemarie and Rita Klucznik.
Walter J. Moore
BURRILLVILLE- Walter J. Moore, 76, resident of Burrillville, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Born in Whitinsville, MA, he was a son of the late Gordon and Gladys (Joslin) Moore.
Walter had worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for many years, retiring from New England Aviation.
Normand L. Lamarre
WOONSOCKET- Normand L. Lamarre, 85, of Dulude Ave. died Wednesday at The Holiday. He was the husband of Laurette J. (LeBlanc) Lamarre.
Mr. and Mrs. Lamarre celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary July 3, 2008.
Born in Saylesville, RI he was a son of the late Armand and Victoria (Paulhus) Lamarre.
Normand worked for the City of Woonsocket, Water and Sewer Department for eleven years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Par-X Club, and the Lafayette Club.
Albert A. Gregoire
WOONSOCKET- Albert A. Gregoire, 91, of Grand St., Woonsocket, died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the loving husband of Arcelia "Celia" M. (Pincince) Gregoire. They were married on September 8, 1945.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Ovila and Anastasie (Lanois) Gregoire. He remained a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Gregoire was a graduate of Mt. St. Charles Academy, Class of 1940.
Anna T. Malec
CENTRAL FALLS- Anna T. Malec, 94, passed away Friday June 22, 2012 at the Grandview Center in Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony F. Malec.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Wincenty K. and Rozalia (Karolczuk) Bialkowska-Nasal. She was a life long resident of Central Falls.
Before retiring Anna was employed as a Billing Clerk for the former Sidney Blumenthal Textile Co. and later was a co-owner, Secretary and Treasurer of the former Town and Country Gardens and Landscaping Co.
