MIDDLETOWN â€” The ever-elusive progress of tracking improvement in oneâ€™s golf game â€¦ itâ€™s actually not that difficult a chore for Cumberland native son Jamison Randall.
WOONSOCKET â€“ The city won't be getting any additional school funding from the state in the near future, at least not through legal action.
That was the outcome of a successful move by the state to block the city from winning a hearing on its school funding lawsuit in Superior Court.
Judge Nettie C. Vogel on Thursday issued a 31-page decision ruling in favor of the state's motion to dismiss the case filed by both the Woonsocket and Pawtucket school districts while noting earlier court decisions to the same effect.

And so Dr. Peter Yasigian was often needed in the office until seven or eight oâ€™clock at night, tending to the usual afflictions of his pediatric caseload, from sore throats and sprains to coughs and croup.
There had to be a better way.

CHANDLER ARIZONA- Elise B. Giguere passed from this life to the next on July 11, 2012 at the age of 84.
She was born and raised in New England and was a past resident of Vero Beach, Florida and lived in Arizona since 2004.
She left behind Omer Giguere, a loving husband of 66 years and two sons, Omer of Boston, Massachusetts and Roger of Chandler, Arizona.
Elise was the loving Grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 West Juniper Ave. in Gilbert, Arizona at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 14th.
