PAWTUCKET – Clay Buchholz and Jacoby Ellsbury didn’t gallop out of McCoy Stadium on white horses. Still, it’s hard not to get all “wild, wild west,” sensing that the cavalry is heading toward Fenway Park – and not a moment too soon.

Suspect sought in murder

PAWTUCKET — Police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Darrell Johnson, 19, in connection with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Joshua Burgo behind the Nathanael Greene Elementary School Friday morning.
Police said the victim was shot in the chest at around 2:58 a.m. He was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
