WOONSOCKET - John C. Ollenborger, 50, of Woonsocket passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
Born in Boston, MA on April 25, 1962, he was the beloved son of John and Anne M. "Nancy" (Burdell) Ollenborger. He leaves his brothers James of Mass., Eric of Dedham, MA, and David of Bellingham, MA; and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves his girlfriend of many years Brenda Knowles of Woonsocket.
WOONSOCKET — Councilman Robert Moreau was hospitalized for 38 days after a bout with kidney cancer turned unexpectedly life-threatening.
Moreau, 50, who was recently discharged, said he may be well enough to attend the next meeting of the council on Aug. 6.

BURRILLVILLE — Frank Beazley, a Rhode Island artist and advocate for the disabled, has died. He was 83.
Beazley died Sunday at Zambarano Hospital, where he had lived for more than 45 years since he was paralyzed in a fall.

WOONSOCKET - Carl O. Newell, 71, of Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the son of the late Clyde O. and Edna E. (Johnson) Newell.
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Janet A. Moore, 72 of North Smithfield passed away at home on July 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Lee R. Moore.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late George and Doris (Fugere) Lamoureux.
Janet's greatest joys in life were her children, grandson, gardening and birdwatching. She was an Officer of the St Agatha's Seniors, a member of the Halifax River Yacht Club, Daytona Beach Yacht Club and worked as an instructor for Southeastern Academy in Florida prior to retirement.
FAIRFIELD, CT- Irene Geambazi Rigia, age 94, of Fairfield, wife of the late Thomas Rigia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 21, 2012.
Born and raised in Woonsocket, RI, Irene had been a Fairfield Town resident for many years. She had worked for the Bryant Electric Co., of Bridgeport until her retirement. Irene was a longtime member of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church and was a member of the church Ladies Auxiliary.

BLACKSTONE - Kathleen E. (Gonneville) Lemenager, 60, of Blackstone, died July 19, 2012 in her home. She was the wife of Joseph A. Lemenager. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Monnot) Gonneville.
She worked as a secretary for Landmark Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. Kathleen enjoyed painting, reading and gardening.
WOONSOCKET - Cecile "Memere Darling" (Plouffe) Longpre - Left our world peacefully and earned her angels wings and reunited with her love on Saturday, July 21st, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Cecile was born June 21st, 1921 in the Darlington section of Pawtucket, RI to the late Amateur & Rosianne (Raymond) Plouffe.
CUMBERLAND - Brenda L. (Norton) Lucas, 75, of Old Hickory Drive died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Lucas and the former wife of Arthur Grant of Newport.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth (McIntyre) Norton, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 49 years.
BURRILLVILLE - Claire L. (Rivet) Cunningham, 78, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was a former resident of Bradford Court. Claire was the wife of the late Lawrence Cunningham. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Dora (Basaillon) Rivet.
Claire worked as a Nurse's Aide at Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag for many years. She enjoyed being a member of the Burrillville Historical Society and was a friend to many in the community.
