WOONSOCKET - Michael Hlywka, 95, of Third Ave. died peacefully Friday January 4, 2013 at home with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Lillian (Surprenant) Hlywka. Michael and Lillian celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this past August. He worked for various textile mills in the area and also Foxboro Co. as a Machinist Tech for 20 years.
Gerard A. Doiron
CUMBERLAND - Gerard A. Doiron, 84, of Manville Hill Road died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (L'Heureux) Doiron.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Dominique and Armande (Desjardins) Doiron, he had lived in Albion all of his life before moving to Cumberland 3 years ago.
Mr. Doiron was a machine operator for the former Collyer Insulated Wire Company, Lincoln for 22 years before retiring.
William M. Armstrong Sr.
HYANNIS, MA - William (Bill) M. Armstrong Sr., 71, of Hyannis, passed away at home on Friday, January 4, 2013 from complications stemming from a brief battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen in 2006, and his son, Bill, Jr, also in 2006.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Flora T. (Bastien) Degnan, 86, of North Smithfield, died December 27, 2012 in Mesa, AZ. She was the wife of the late John F. Brady and the late John F. Degnan. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Eudor and Noella (Picard) Bastien.
Mrs. Degnan was a secretary for Amperex Electronics in North Smithfield, retiring in 1987. She was also co owner of Park Square Diner and secretary at Lippitt Mill.
