Olive R. Pendleton
WHITINSVILLE/UXBRIDGE - Olive (Richardson) Pendleton, 95, passed away Thurs. Oct. 24, 2013 in UMass/Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
She was born in Uxbridge in 1918 the daughter of the late Elias and Laura (Ballou) Richardson and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School in 1936. A resident of Uxbridge for most of her life, she was living in Whitinsville for the past few years.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Alan Lincoln Hurd, 75, of North Smithfield, died October 23, 2013 at home with his loving family by his side after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of Cornelia (Kokolski) Hurd. He was born in Woonsocket on February 12, 1938, the son of the late Frank C. and Dorothy M. (Beauregard) Hurd. He was a kind and gentle man, always with a ready smile, and great love for his family.
RUMFORD, ME -- Nancy Tubias, 72, of Andover, Maine died Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Rumford Hospital, Rumford, Maine with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Milford, MA on November 2, 1940, and was the daughter of William and Louise (Stanton) Byron.
PROCTORSVILLE, VT - Roger "Yogi" McNamara. With his family by his side, Yogi died peacefully from complications of the AVM that he had courageously accepted and lived with for 45 years.
WOONSOCKET â City inspectors have ordered Dave and Charlene Densmore to shut down the elaborate Halloween house they built on their property, calling it a threat to public safety.

LINCOLN -- Wednesday was a day of mixed feelings for Russell E. Shipp, 51, of Pleasant Street. It was a day to remember the loss of his brother, Lance Cpl. Thomas A. Shipp, a Woonsocket native, in the terrorist attack on a U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, 30 years ago to the day. Oct. 23 is also the day Shippâs son Travis, now 24, was born in 1989.
LINCOLN â As a former high school and college athlete, Mike Bedrossian knows what it takes to prepare for games, especially those critical to his teams' success.
He did time and again at Seekonk High, as well as the Community College of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College, where he starred in basketball and baseball.

Born in Berlin, NH, he was the son of the late Osias and Bertha (Blanchette) Martin.
