Maurice G. Tondreau

HARRISVILLE- Maurice G. Tondreau, 69, of Ironmine Rd., died Friday at home. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Sylvestre) Tondreau.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Albert and Irene (Lessard) Tondreau.
Moe was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for thirty eight years through the Woonsocket and Providence Post Offices. He was an avid fisherman and always enjoyed life.

DAYTON- Marjorie Gloria Mullett, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2013 in Gorham.
She was born in Glocester, RI on Sept. 23, 1944, a daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (Phetteplace) Migneault.
After graduating from high school, she was a caregiver and provided a home for several foster children.

WOONSOCKET- Pauline A. Landry, 77, died peacefully surrounded by her extended families at the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket on Thursday, July 11, 2013.
Pauline was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Herve and Annette (Morrissette) Landry and lived her life in the Blackstone Valley.
She leaves a cousin and devoted caregiver Jacqueline Tondreau and her family of Cumberland and the dedicated and loving staff on the third floor of Trinity Center, especially Kathy, Josette, Christina (Sweetie Pie), and Eric (Tattoo).

WOONSOCKET- Lucille M. "Lulu" (Croke) Dussault, 88, of Burrington St., died July 11, 2013 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Raymond Dussault.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Johnson) Croke.
She worked as an administrator for Firestone Rubber and Tire. Lucille attended Hill College, Providence College and Brown University and graduated with a degree in Business English. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and sitting on the porch talking with neighbors.

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Rita V. (Cummings) Hannan, 75, of North Smithfield, died July 11, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of the late William L. Hannan.
A devoted caretaker, Rita worked as a CNA at the Friendly Nursing Home for 30 years.

TEXAS- Aurore "Topsy" (Nadeau) Camilucci, 90, passed away August 31, 2012 in Texas. She was the wife of the late Bruno J. Camilucci.
Aurore moved to Texas in 1999 to live with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Jean Tondre and grandsons Kenneth and Christopher Tondre, and twin great-grandsons, Jake and Cory Tondre all of Texas.

City gets slapped with open records violation

WOONSOCKET – State prosecutors have determined that the city violated a state law protecting access to public documents by taking too long to provide a lawyer with records from the Water Treatment Plant Advisory Committee.
Attorney Michael A. Kelly asked for the records on Dec. 21, 2012, and should have been supplied with them within 30 days under the Access to Public Records Act.

2 dead, 2 injured in Burrillville crash

BURRILLVILLE – Two people were killed and two others seriously injured, police said, when two cars collided head-on on Route 102 on the hill above the Mr. Doughboy and Bella’s restaurants Thursday afternoon.
Police Chief Stephen J. Lynch, declined to say at the scene if anyone had been killed in the 3:28 p.m. crash that destroyed a white sedan and caused heavy front-end damage to a mini van, offering only that all the parties involved had suffered serious injuries.
