PASCOAG - Brother RenÃ© J. M. Chenard, S.C., 90, of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Provincial House, Pascoag, RI, died August 15, 2014 at Overlook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pascoag, RI. Born in Lewiston, ME, he was the son of the late Joseph and Emilia (Therriault) Chenard. Brother RenÃ© died on the 70th anniversary of his first religious profession.
Frances J. Laferriere
WOONSOCKET - Frances J. Laferriere, 91, of Clinton St., died August 18, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Rodrique and Cecile (Asselin) Laferriere and she was raised by the late Clara (Asselin) Jasmin.
Gordon H. Beckwith
BURRILLVILLE - Gordon H. Beckwith 87, resident of Pascoag, passed away August 19, 2014 at the Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pascoag RI.
Loving husband of 54 years to the late Barbara (Cambio) Beckwith.
He was born in Charlton MA, a son of the late Charles & Gertrude (Stevenson) Beckwith.
Gordon was a chef at the Zambarano Hospital retiring in 1983. He lived most of his life in Burrillville, and was a WWII Army veteran. He was a very active member of the Berean Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors especially traveling to his camp in NH.

Diane C. Loporchio
CRANSTON - Diane C. (Gaboury) Loporchio, 64, died Sunday, Aug. 10 2014, at home in Cranston after a long illness. She was the wife of Anthony Loporchio. Born in Woonsocket, Diane was the daughter of the late Wilfrid J. Gaboury Jr. and Cecile P. (DeBlois) Gaboury. She lived in Rhode Island for most of her life.
Diane graduated from Woonsocket's St. Claire High School in 1968 and received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Smithfield's Bryant College in 1991. She earned her CPA certificate and spent her career working in accounting.

The 14-year-old twin brothers finished second overall in their age bracket at the national tournament â”€ organized by the U.S. Olympic program â”€ and held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin over the weekend of July 25-27.

THE VILLAGES, FL. - Paul Britton Robson died very peacefully at home in the Villages, Florida. He was 87 years old.
Paul is survived by his children, Valerie Page (Stephen), Britton Robson (Roberta Weisel), Cynthia Robson (David Harlson), and grandsons Jonathan Blake, Britton Blake (Tanya), Mingus Robson, BjÃ¸rn Harlson, and great grandchildren Bryce Walker and Layla JeanneMarie Blake.

Conrad F. Duquette Sr.
BOCA RATON, FL - Conrad F. Duquette Sr. 84, passed peacefully from this life the morning of August 15th at his residence after his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family during the last days. He was born in Woonsocket, RI on August 17th, 1929 to Lionel and Florence (Crepeau) Duquette. In 1954, he married his wife Alice. In 1973, they moved to Boca Raton, Florida. He worked for IBM, as well as the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. After retiring, he continued on as a volunteer there as well.
