Germain A. Leclerc
MANVILLE- Germain A. Leclerc, 84, of Old River Rd., Manville, passed away Tuesday at South County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Simone (Laprade) Leclerc who passed away in November. They were married on September 4, 1948.
Born in Manville, he was a son of the late Olivier and Alexina (Dumas) Leclerc. He was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Mr. Leclerc served in the Army during WWII in the European Theatre.
He worked for Branch River Worsted Company and A.H. Duffy Inc. before his retirement.
Edmond A. Boisclair
WOONSOCKET Edmond A. "White" Boisclair, 92, of Woonsocket, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the beloved husband for 64 years of Rita D. (Tetreault) Boisclair.
Born in Woonsocket on October 25, 1918, he was the son of the late Ovide and Cordelia (Tessier) Boisclair.

WOONSOCKET- Washington, John W., 62, of Poplar Street, died January 24, 2011.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI a son of the late John W. Washington, Sr. and the late Eula Mae (Cole) Washington.
He is the father of John P. Dufurene. He has 2 sisters, Lorraine Garrett and Mary-Ann Acuna and 5 brothers, Michael, Jerry, Clarence and James and the late Richard Washington.

PAWTUCKET – There were coaches from North Kingstown and Bishop Hendricken sitting in the stands to view Monday’s Division I crossover between Woonsocket and St. Raphael. No doubt they came to see Charles Correa, Cesar Mejia and Trevor Vasey and the rest of SRA’s starting five, but the coaches were probably just as likely to jot down notes pertaining to Jordan Peguero, Ben Pillsbury and Franklin Batista.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA- Joseph Shorr, Honorary President of Congregation B'nai Israel and Former Circulation Manager of The Woonsocket Call passed away at his home in Woodland Hills, CA Friday. Mr. Shorr, 95, is survived by his wife, Frances, his son, Irwin J. Shorr of Olney, MD, his granddaughter, Dr. Sloane Sevran of Calabasas, CA, his two great grandchildren, Bryce and Hunter, and his daughter, Ellen Sevran of Woodland Hills, with whom he lived, and his brother Sanford Shorr, of Meriden, Ct.

PAWTUCKET- Jennifer A. Charpentier, 37, of Anthony Ave., Pawtucket, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, she is survived by two sons, Andrew and Kyle and her former spouse, Todd Charpentier, all of North Smithfield.
She was the daughter of Carol A. (Leclair) and Craig Cook and Gerard Lachance and his wife Joyce, all of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her brother, Douglas M. Lachance and his wife Mary of Providence.
Georgina M. Shaw
BURRILLVILLE- Georgina M. (Esten) Shaw, 92, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 in Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Marshall L. Shaw.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Harold O. and Mary (Brown) Esten.
Cecile M. Rondeau
UXBRIDGE- Cecile M. (Gaudreau) Rondeau, 86, of Uxbridge and formerly of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Pine Grove Health Center, Pascoag with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of Gerard R. Rondeau.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 19, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Valida (Desautels) Gaudreau.
