PROVIDENCE â€” Painting a lurid picture of what he says is extensive and ongoing voter fraud â€” people being paid to vote multiple times at different polling places; votes cast in the names of dead people or those who said they would not vote in a given election; mail ballots being â€śboughtâ€ť â€” Democratic congressional candidate Anthony Gemma pointed the finger of accusation directly at his primary opponent, Rep. David Cicilline.

NASONVILLE- Theresa M. Hebert 88, of Ironmine Rd., Nasonville, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Conrad A. Hebert.
Born in Blackstone, she was a daughter of the late Delphis and Angelina (Lebrun) Ferron.
Theresa was a credit manager for the former Woonsocket Hospital for twenty five years before retiring. After her retirement, she and her husband lived in Florida for eight years before moving back to RI.
Dennis R. Taillon
BURRILLVILLE- Dennis R. Taillon, 58, died suddenly, Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Bridgewater, VT. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Flinton) Taillon, whom he was married to for 28 years.
They lived in Pascoag for many years and also spent time at their property in Bridgewater, VT.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Lionel and Dorothy (Daggett) Taillon.
Dennis worked as a Welder for Electric Boat in Quonset for more than 27 years. He was an active member of Pascoag Fire Department, Hose Company #2 since 1990.
BELLINGHAM- Juliette T. (Plouffe) Pinsonneault, 90, of Bellingham, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston, MA with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene R. Pinsonneault.

BURRILLVILLE- Dorothy C. Marshall 96 resident of Pascoag, died August 21, 2012 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick.
She was the wife to the late Joseph Marshall Sr.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Henry & Lena (Hebert) Mercure.

WOONSOCKET â€” A city policeman was arrested by his own department on felony assault charges Tuesday for striking a 9-year-old girl, police said.
Officer Patrick Cahill, 23, was taken into custody on a complaint filed by the girlâ€™s mother, said Jamie Paone, a spokeswoman for the Woonsocket Police Department.
She said the girl is closely related to Cahill, but she declined to elaborate, saying the police are trying to protect the privacy of such a young person.
WOONSOCKET â€” Pastor Gene Giguere says heâ€™s long felt as though the Harvest Community Churchâ€™s efforts to provide seasonal shelter for homeless men were akin to putting a Band-Aid on cancer, but yesterday he could see sunnier prospects for this troubled population.
â€śUp to now weâ€™ve just been alleviating pain,â€ť he said. â€śThis is a step toward a cure.â€ť
Giguereâ€™s comments came as he joined a whoâ€™s who of political figures, affordable housing developers and advocates for the homeless Tuesday to mark the start of construction on a new homeless shelter, just for men, at 96 Burnside Ave.

BLACKSTONE, MA - Therese M. (Marcotte) Brodd, 86, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold E. Brodd.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on July 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Blanche (Surprenant) Marcotte.
