WOONSOCKET- Donna M. Kwandranc, of Fourth Avenue died Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Rhode Island Hospital. A lifelong city resident, she was the daughter of Roland Ayotte of Woonsocket and Marguerite (Champagne) Dubois of Central Falls.
Beside her parents, she leaves five children including Aaron Kwandranc of Woonsocket and his two children. She also is survived by her two sisters, Suzanne Desjardin of Woonsocket and Valerie Egan of Burrillville. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kwandranc, Jr.

WOONSOCKET- Deborah J. McAssey, 62, of Avenue A died suddenly on October 6, 2011 while at home.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Mildred (MacLeod) McAssey.
Deborah worked as a Unit Secretary for Landmark Medical Center for forty years. She was a graduate of RI Jr. College.

CHEPACHET, RI- Linda M. Jackson, 53, died October 8, 2011 at her home in Shirley, ME. She was born December 2, 1957 in Providence, RI, daughter of Russell and Gloria (Simmons) Wallace.
She grew up Chepachet, RI, moving to Maine in the early nineties, making her home in Shirley. Linda enjoyed writing and had published articles in the Moosehead Messenger, Piscataquis Observer, and Yankee Magazine. She enjoyed gardening and operated Moosehead Seed Company, and also worked as a realtor.

BLACKSTONE, MA- Shirley M. Bradley, 64, of Blackstone, MA, passed away Thursday in Tewksbury, MA.
Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Redfield Bradley and Persis Clarke.
Ms. Bradley was a systems analyst for the John Hancock Company for over 30 years.

BURRILLVILLE- Lillian Haigh, 100, resident of Pascoag, formerly of Mapleville passed away October 7, 2011 at the Pine Grove Health Center.
She was the loving wife to the late Lincoln Haigh.
Born April 11, 2011 in Mapleville RI, a daughter of the late Harrison & Mary (Dickey) Young.
Lillian worked in local area textiles for many years. She was a lifelong Burrillville. She celebrated her 100th birthday last April. She enjoyed playing seek a word puzzles.
She is survived by two brothers, Mathias of Mapleville and George Young of Twin Oaks FL, and many nieces and nephews.

WOONSOCKET- Cory James Parker, 21, of Diamond Hill Rd, died October 2, 2011.
Born in Providence, he was the son Kenneth Parker and Linda Kerrigan.
Cory was a student at the Community College of Rhode Island, Lincoln, majoring in computer engineering. He was also a member of the Student Government. Cory enjoyed working out and passing time playing video games.
Besides his parents, Cory is survived by four brothers, Daryl, Michael, Nicholas and Bryan Parker and two sisters, Dorothy Parker and Melodie Curran.

WOONSOCKET- Lucien A. Dubois, 93, formerly of Knight St., Woonsocket, died Tuesday evening at The Friendly Home. He was the husband of the late Irene (Cabana) Dubois.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Aristide and Ovida (Chevrette) Dubois. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Dubois served in the Army during WWII. He was in the European and African Theatre and was an MP in the 1326th Service Command Unit.

She’ll be wearing a white tennis skirt with a veil on her head and he’ll be wearing shorts and a Tuxedo T-shirt.
About 150 guests have been invited to attend their wedding next weekend, but Geralyn Hoffman and Larry Ducady aren’t planning on getting too dressed up for their big day.
After all, running a race wearing a full tuxedo or a wedding gown isn’t exactly comfortable. Neither is dress shoes or heels.
