Car Crashes Into Bank

April 26, 2011

The property manager of the Citizens Bank branch on Eddie Dowling Highway in North Smithfield, near Park Square, who asked not to be identified, speaks to a bank employee after being notified that a car had crashed into the front of the building just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Broken doors and windows can be seen in the photo, on right. The branch was closed temporarily, and customers directed to the branch at the Park Square Stop & Shop nearby. Check back later for more updates. (Call photo by Ernest A. Brown)
