Ballot set for Sept. 11 primary

WOONSOCKET – State Sen. Roger A. Picard, of 764 Mendon Road, will run for re-election without an opponent and state representatives Lisa Baldelli-Hunt and Jon D. Brien both face primary elections for their seats as a result of the close of the General Assembly candidate nomination process on Friday.

A few days later, the 38-year-old public health major at Rhode Island College was at Cass Park with his kids, swinging a badminton racket, making crafts, and having fun.
He liked it so much that he and his children, Alanah, 7, Olivia, 5, and Isaiah, 11, did it all over again two days later at Cold Spring Park.
