BELLINGHAM — A 30-year-old Warwick woman was killed and her passenger — a 31-year-old Harrisville man —was seriously injured following a car crash early Sunday.
Emergency crews from Bellingham and Woonsocket were called to the scene on Paine Street at about 1:30 a.m., according to WPRI-TV.
The driver, Jessie Crum, and her passenger, Joshua Champagne, were trapped inside an SUV that had rolled over into a tree in front of the New England Country Club in Bellingham. They were eventually cut free by the Jaws of Life, WPRI reported.
