August 26, 2013

WOONSOCKET – The city Board of Canvassers has received two more declarations from potential candidates interested in running for the seven-member City Council on Nov. 5.

Christopher A. Beauchamp, of 37 Meadow Road, and Marc A. Dubois, of 301 Brookhaven Lane, both council incumbents, filed declarations of candidacy on Monday, according to Estelle Corriveau, manager of the Board of Canvassers.

The filings leave just City Council President John F. Ward as not having declared an intention to run for re-election this fall.
