Lois J. McKee
CUMBERLAND- Lois J. McKee, 93, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010. She was the wife of the late Everett McKee. Born in Plymouth, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Agnes (Bowen) Lord.
Donald L. Schafrath
LINCOLN- Donald L. Schafrath, 94, died November 8, 2010 at the Holiday Nursing Home.
He was born in Canton, OH on November 22, 1915 to Leo and Clara R. (Rohr) Schafrath.
He was the loving husband of the late Violet (Brissette) Schafrath.
He and his wife were the owners and operators of Jolicoeur Furniture Co. in Woonsocket for many years. He was a Naval Sea Bee and served during WWII.
Travis L Howard
GLOCESTER- Travis L Howard, 26, a lifelong resident of Glocester, RI passed away Friday, November 5, 2010.
Born in Providence, RI, October 24, 1984, he was the beloved son of Emilie J. (Breault) Howard and Timothy L. Howard.
Travis was a graduate of Ponaganset High School and worked as a courier for local businesses. He had a passion for driving, the outdoors, animals and especially for arts and music. Travis was a gentle, quiet young man who could make his family and friends smile without saying a word.
BLACKSTONE- Ronald A. MacGregor, 83, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 with family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Constance E. (Thompson) MacGregor.
Born in Everett, MA on March 16, 1927, he was the son of the late George A. MacGregor and Marjorie L. (Copp) MacGregor Chick.
Dorothy A. Hull
CUMBERLAND - Dorothy A. (Wilson) Hull, 74, of New York Avenue died Sunday, November 7, 2010 while visiting in South Carolina. She was the wife of the late James G. Hull.
Born in Eastover, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Gary T. and Flossie Mae (Woodle) Wilson.
Mrs. Hull worked at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville for many years before retiring.
WOONSOCKET- Albert R. Archambault 51 of Second Ave, died Wednesday November 3rd at home.
He was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Tellier) Archambault.
Albert was a cook at Wrentham State School before becoming disabled.
He is survived by a brother Leo Archambault of Woonsocket, two sisters, Therese Carr of Woonsocket, and Alice Schram of Burrillville, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Robert Archambault, Pauline Laliberte and Rita Farrow.
CONNEAUTVILLE, PA- MCKENNA, Mary Gloria of Conneautville, PA, age 83, died unexpectedly at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY after a fall. She was a middle school teacher in the Exeter-West Greenwich School district until retirement in 1992.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the only child of Gabriel N. Filice and Lillian (McGivern).
She was twice married and divorced, to Clarence James Mack and John McKenna. Until her recent move to PA, she was a lifelong resident of RI, living in Woonsocket, Pawtucket, South Kingstown, and Coventry.
MANVILLE- Anna (Tyniak) Levy, 96, a resident of the Holiday Nursing Home and formerly of Chestnut St., Manville passed away peacefully on Monday at the Holiday.
Born: Dec. 21, 1913 in Manville, daughter of the late Paul & Catherine (Romaniczn) Tyniak, she resided in Manville all her life.
Anna was a sewer at the former Sadwin's Co. before retiring she previously was employed at other textile manufacturing Co's.
She was a communicant of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church of Woonsocket and member of the Parish Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed knitting & reading.
Richard R. Lavallee
MILLVILLE- Richard R. "Rich" Lavallee, 53, of Chestnut Hill Rd., Millville, died Saturday at the Rose Monahan Hospice Center in Worcester.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Jeannette (Ethier) Lavallee of Millville and the late Louis J. Lavallee. He was a resident of Millville for most of his life and also resided in Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional High School.
Rich was employed by Poly Vinyl Corp in Sutton, MA for over 30 years.
He was a student and practitioner of karate.
Doris L. Harpin
CUMBERLAND- Doris L. (Lafleur) Harpin, 83, formerly of 1 Flat Street died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Roland L. Harpin.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Alice (Harpin) Lafleur, she had lived in Woonsocket for most of her life moving to Cumberland 24 years ago.
Mrs. Harpin was a sales clerk at Ann & Hope and Rathbun Outlet for 50 years, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of the Riverside Tenants Association and a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland.
