Mary M. Arsenault
MILLVILLE- Mary M. (Clouart) Arsenault, 93, of West St. died Thursday Nov. 18, 2010 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. She was the wife of the late William A. Arsenault who died in 1981.
Mrs. Arsenault was employed at Woonsocket Hospital for 25 years until retiring in 1978.
A resident of Millville for most of her life, she was born April 8, 1917 in Blackstone, the daughter of the late William and Mary (McDonald) Clouart and was a graduate of Blackstone High School.
Emile J. "Spike"
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Emile J. Spike Fafard III, 61, resident of North Smithfield, passed away November 17, 2010, at his trophy home that he built.
Loving husband of 43 years to Rev. Diane J. (Bourcier) Fafard.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of Edith (Minot) Fafard and the late Emile Fafard.
Spike's life was committed by his love for deer hunting for the past 42 years. He currently holds the record for the largest shed antlers found in RI. Emile worked as the maintenance supervisor and did major engineering work for over 20 years at Jannell Truck Bodies,
Bertha P. Boucher
CUMBERLAND- Bertha P. Boucher, 99, resident of Cumberland, passed away on Nov. 17, 2010 at the Ballou Home in Woonsocket surrounded by her loving family.
Loving wife of the late Ernest N. Boucher.
Born in North Smithfield a daughter of the late Antoine & MaryAnne (Girard) Picher.
Bertha was a registered nurse for Dr. Gauthier and the former Woonsocket Hospital retiring in 1976.
She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Christine Bonas of North Smithfield, Michael Boucher of Charleston SC., her two great grandsons, Michael & Matthew Bonas both of North Smithfield.
Charles J. Waterman
BURRILLVILLE - Charles J. Waterman, 86, of Harrisville, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.
Born in Harrisville, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Cournoyer) Waterman.
Charles worked at area mills and was employed at the Burrillville Department of Public Works as a highway worker for 32 years, retiring in 1987. He was an Army Veteran and P.O.W. of WWII and was also a member of VFW Keegan-Dinagen Post 1023. He was an avid card player and fisherman.
WELLESLEY, MA- Sr. Lucienne Paulhus, RJM (Mother St. Remi) on November 16, 2010 at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Wellesley, MA at the age of 92.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Timothee Paulhus and Exeline (Beauchemin) Paulhus.
Sr. Lucienne taught in Woonsocket, and was a devoted and efficient secretary at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro for many years. She also served her religious community as secretary and local treasurer.
George W. Martin
WOONSOCKET- George W. Martin passed away on November 17, 2010 at The Woonsocket Health Centre after a brief illness.
He was the son of Alfred and Emma (Riquier) Martin.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI on February 1, 1925. He was the widower of Jeannette (Archambault) Martin.
He is survived by six sons and two daughters Alfred who resides in Arizona, Donald of Blackstone, MA, and Albert, Armand, Ronald and George all of Woonsocket. Two daughters Annette (Martin) Limoges and Paulette both of Woonsocket.
He had twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
WOONSOCKET- Lucien Viens 86, of Progresso Ave. died Monday at RI Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marie (Champagne) Viens.
He was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Louis and Emma (Thibeault) Viens. Mr. Viens was a machine cording operator for the Dennison Manufacturing Co. for seventeen years. He served in the US Air Force during WWII.
He is survived by a son Robert E. Viens of MA, and a granddaughter Katie -Marie. He was also the father of the late Lorraine Cullerton.
Blanche J. Berard
PHOENIX, AZ- Blanche J. (Forand) Berard, 92, recently of Huntsville, AR passed away on November 9, 2010 in Phoenix.
Blanche was born on March 16, 1918 in Manville, RI to Emile and Leonie (Rainey) Forand.
Vivian M. DeLucia
BELLINGHAM- Vivian M. (Dumont) DeLucia, 69, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence with family by her side.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on August 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Constance (Roy) Dumont.
Robert F. Moran
SLATERSVILLE- Robert F. Moran, 54, of Railroad St., passed away peacefully in his home Thursday, November 11, 2010 surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Born in New Rochelle, NY, he was the son of the late William L. and Adrienne B. (Carvon) Moran, Jr.
Bob spent his early years in Killington, VT fulfilling his loves of life, skiing and golf. Here is where he met Charlene Dumouchelle and they were married in May of 1990. Bob, Charlene and their daughters later moved to RI, where Bob worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for GER Corp.
