H. Paul Hemond
WOONSOCKET H. Paul Hemond, 90, of Warren Ave., passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at The Holiday in Lincoln surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of the late Jeannette C. (Duquette) Hemond.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Phydime and Selfride (Fontaine) Hemond, and lived in Woonsocket for most of his life.
Mr. Hemond attended Mt. St. Charles Academy and was a graduate of New England Institute of Technology. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and worked as a machinist for TMS, formerly of Bellingham, MA.
Sister Helena Menard
MARLBOROUGH- Sister Helena Menard, a Sister of St. Anne and known in religion as Sister Mary Eugene Alfred, died at age 97 on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Marie Esther Health Center. She was in the 74th year of religious life.
The daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Descoteaux) Menard of Manville, R.I., she completed her elementary education at St. James School in that city and obtained her high school diploma from St. Anne Academy in Marlborough. She held a B.E. degree in education from Catholic Teachers College in Providence.
Rolande R. Hubert
WOONSOCKET- Rolande R. Hubert 80, of Lucille St. died Wednesday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Roland L. Hubert.
Mrs. Hubert was born in Cambridge, MA a daughter of the late Rosaire and Aurore (Berger) Lepage.
She worked in the Rubber Shop from 1947-1950 and was a devote mother and wife for her remaining years.

Colleen S. Soucy
WOONSOCKET- Colleen S. (Minutelli) Soucy 54, of Logee St. died peacefully at home Tuesday. She was the wife of Andre Soucy.
Colleen was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Gaetano and Ruth (Riley) Minutelli she was also a longtime resident of Burrillville.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for various area nursing homes retiring in 2001.

BURRILLVILLE - William R. "Billy" Davenport, 38, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 with his family at his side.

UXBRIDGE- Katherine A. (Putnam) Choquette, 54, died Tuesday, January 25, in the Tippett Home, Needham following an illness.
Ralph N. Belleville
WOONSOCKET- Ralph N. Belleville, 85, of Woonsocket, died Monday, January 24, 2011 in St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of Marion E. (Nichols) Belleville. They were married for over sixty-two years.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Onesiphore and Winifred (Perreault) Belleville. He lived in Woonsocket for his entire life.

Robert W. LaForest
WOONSOCKET- Robert W. LaForest, 81, passed away on January 18, 2011 at The Friendly Home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Cecile (Drouin) LaForest.
Born in Woonsocket on April 17, 1929, he was the son of the late Walter and Marie Anne (Rainville) LaForest.
