UXBRIDGE- Florence L. (White) Knapik, 89 of Crown and Eagle Apts. passed away Thur. Jan. 20.
Evelyn Carton
WOONSOCKET- Evelyn Carton, 82, of Cumberland, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Ben Haywood Kay and the late Paul E. Carton.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Axon) Booth. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.
Mrs. Carton was a graduate of Cumberland High School, Class of 1945.
She was employed by Cumberland Farms, Forte Bros. Inc. and later at Elizabeth Webbing in Central Falls prior to her retirement.

Rose M. Kamer
WOONSOCKET- Rose M. Kamer, 72, of Dulude Ave. died Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Leon G. Kamer.
Born in Bellingham, daughter of the late Baheg Doura, and Josephine (Assolina) Doura -Foisy.
She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant, for Mt. St. Rita Health Center, for 10 years and was Owner and Operator of T&D's Market, for several years.
She enjoyed listening to the Jack Rivers Doowop Show and Joey's Jukebox.
Lucille E. Cameron
PLYMOUTH, MA- Lucille E. (Roy) Cameron, 94, of Narragansett Avenue died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Coyne Healthcare Center, Rockland, MA. She was the wife of the late Hugh J. Cameron.
Born in Manville, a daughter of the late George A. and Antoinette (Cormier) Roy, she had lived in Norwood, Canton, Duxbury, Attleboro and Plymouth.
Mrs. Cameron was a bookkeeper for John Keith Properties, Stoughton, MA for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. Catherine's Women's Club, Norwood, MA.
Raymond J. Godin
WOONSOCKET- Raymond J. Godin, 89, of St. Leon Ave., died peacefully January 19, 2011 in St. Antoine's Residence, No. Smithfield.
Born in Linwood, MA, he was the eldest child of Felix and Roseanna (Gagne) Godin.
He resided most of his life in Woonsocket having been employed in his working years at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, American Tourister, Brickett Corporation and Metal Box Industries.
Dorothy Cote
BLACKSTONE- Dorothy (Ratelle) Cote, 87, of Blackstone formerly of Bellingham and Woonsocket passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Cote.
Born in Harrisville, RI on November 13, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Jane (Theroux) Ratelle. She was the mother of Raymond E. Cote and his wife Rita of San Antonio, TX.

James L. Ranslow Jr.
MILLVILLE- James L. Ranslow Jr., 88, of Millville died Wed. Jan. 19, 2011 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of Viola M. (Fierley) Ranslow.
Mr. Ranslow was employed for 30 years at the Wyman Gordon Co. in Grafton until his retirement.
A lifelong resident of Millville, he was born Aug. 6, 1922 in Millville, a son of the late James and Tessie (Kroll) Ranslow Sr. and had attended the Millville School System.
Mr. Ranslow served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific.
Rolande M.
Branchaud
WOONSOCKET- Rolande M. (LaFleur) Branchaud, 72, of Caron Avenue, Woonsocket, died last Friday in Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
Born in St. Ours, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Irene M. (Girouard) Lafleur. She has been a Woonsocket resident since 1976.
Mrs. Branchaud was the Owner of the Beef Barn in North Smithfield for forty years.
She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.
Kathleen P. Lappin
PROVIDENCE- Mrs. Kathleen P. Lappin, R.N. 85, of Providence and formerly of Oakland, died Jan. 18, 2011 at the Hallworth House, Providence. She was the wife of the late William J. Lappin, former state Representative.
Born in Oakland, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Crook) Byrne.
Kathleen was a graduate of the St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked many years for Dr. Ernest J. Smith in Oakland. She also worked at and retired from Zambarano Hospital.
Rita I. Mann
WOONSOCKET- Rita I. Mann, 83, formerly of Chateau Clare, entered into Eternal Life Thursday at The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Melvin M. Mann.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Leandre and Yvonne (Lefrancois) L'Esperance. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Mann was employed at the Social Department Store for many years and was also an AVON representative.
