WOONSOCKET- Edward A. Grenier, 84, of Pond St., died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Rita L. (Beauregard) Grenier.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late William O. Grenier and Florence (Messier) Grenier-Bryant.

Champagne
WOONSOCKET- Eileen M. (Silvia) Champagne, 77, of Marie Anne Ct., passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, after a courageous battle. She was the wife of Robert G. Champagne whom she married July 10, 1954.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline (Rochea) Silvia.
Senator James
Costello
LINCOLN- Senator James "Jimmy" Costello was born in Providence on February 25, 1917, the son of Thomas C. Costello and Luiga (Ruggeiro) Costello.
James went to school in Providence and North Providence and later took courses in state government administration and business administration at Brown University to help prepare for twin careers in public life and business. On the business side, he also studied at The Chrysler Corporation Master Technician School and the Ford Institute in New York, where he earned the distinction of Master Technician.
