Irene F. Loens
WOONSOCKET- Irene F. (Lagace) Loens, 89, formerly of Diamond Hill Rd. died Wednesday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late George Loens.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Carmella (Tremblay) Lagace.
Irene was a graduate of the RI School of Practical Nursing and worked as an LPN for the former Mercy Hospital for ten years, and the former Fogarty and Woonsocket Hospitals for seventeen years before retiring. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Devotion and the Sr. Citizens Christian Group.
