Pierre R. Barthelemy
WOONSOCKET- Pierre R. Barthelemy, 86, of Blakely St., died Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of sixty years of Doris R. (Guilbert) Barthelemy.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Ephrem and Rose (Ouellette) Barthelemy.
Mr. Barthelemy worked twenty years as a Machinist for the Speidel Company. A WWII Army Veteran, Pierre served five Campaigns in Europe with the 83rd Infantry Division. He also was a Eucharistic Minister at Landmark Medical Center for many years.
Ronald A. Comire, Jr.
PROVIDENCE- Ronald A. Comire, Jr., 45, of Cathedral Square, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Ronald A. Comire, Sr. and Jean (Martel) Comire, of No. Smithfield and the late Rose (Desjardin) Comire.
He was a self employed Carpenter.
WOONSOCKET- Florence L. (Giard) Courchesne 98, died Tuesday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late George J. Courchesne who died in December 1996.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Zotique and Leona (Picard) Giard.
NORTH ATTLEBORO- Eileen (Lang) Mastromatteo age 85 years died in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
Born in Norfolk, Massachusetts on November 21, 1925; she was the daughter of the late Philip and Amelia (Pescuma) Lang.
She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1943 and later from Kenneth's Hair Design School in Framingham. She has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 14 years moving there from Franklin, Massachusetts where she spent 50 years.
Celia J. Novack
BLACKSTONE- Celia J. Novack, 94, of County St. passed away on Monday, Sept. 19th at the Milford Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter Novack, and daughter of the late Clemens & Julia Bednarz.
She is survived by a nephew Walter and his wife Leydin, a great nephew, John, 2 nieces, Joanne and her husband Richard and Diane.
Brother Armand L. Gamache, S.C.
BURRILLVILLE- Brother Armand L. Gamache, S.C., (Brother John Damian), 86, of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Provincial House, Pascoag, RI, died September 20, 2011 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland, RI.
Born in Nashua, NH, he was the son of the late Lionel Gamache and Marie (Gingras) Gamache.
WOONSOCKET- Elizabeth (Santucci) Viscione, 89, of Dana St., died June 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Louis Viscione.
Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Concetta (Cecca) Santucci.
Mrs. Viscione worked as a credit manager for the former Carol Cable, Woonsocket and was previously employed as a cashier for the former Collimatti Market, Woonsocket. Her passion was her family and cooking.
Maxine A. Degre
WOONSOCKET- Maxine A. (Chamberland) Degre 57, of Manville Rd. died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Rene E. Degre.
Born in Hartford, CT she was the daughter of Maximin Chamberland of Woonsocket and the late Phyllis (Garland) Chamberland.
Maxine was a driver for the Tellstone Bus Co. for over five years retiring in 2002. She enjoyed knitting, bingo, traveling and attending Pow Wows. Maxine also loved Tweety Bird and butterflies.
WOONSOCKET- Filomena (Gesualdi) Proietti, 88, of St. Antoine Residence, formerly of Greene St., Chateau Claire, died Monday, September 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late Vincent Proietti.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Francisco and Rosaria (DeCotis) Gesualdi. Mrs. Proietti worked as an Office Manager for the former Almacs, for several years.
She was a member of St. Agatha's Seniors, and St. Joseph Seniors and she also volunteer for 27 years at the Palm Beach Medical Center, while Filomena and her husband vacation in Florida, for the winter.
Leonard E. Plasse, Jr.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Leonard "Lenny" E. Plasse, Jr., 70, a lifelong resident of North Smithfield, died September 18, 2011 at the Summit Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 21, 1941 in Woonsocket, RI, a son of the late Leonard, Sr. & Doris (Romprey) Plasse, he was the loving husband of Gladys (Steere) Plasse.
