Albert J. Violette Jr.
WOONSOCKET- Albert J. Violette Jr., 81, of Bryant St, died Saturday September 10, 2011 in the Hebert Nursing Home. He was the husband of Estelle L. (Plante) Violette. Albert and Estelle were married for 60 years.
Born in Northbridge, MA. son of the late Albert J. and Alia (Paquin) Violette.
Mr. Violet was a machinist for Bro-Gil Co. in Woonsocket, for several years.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Mr. Violet was a former member of the Elks.
Albert J. Roy
WOONSOCKET- Albert J. Roy, 59, of Woonsocket, died Saturday, September 10, at Woonsocket Health Center.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Leo and Jeannette (Gagnon) Roy, he had been a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Roy was a mechanic for many years, working at Leo's Auto Parts, Arnold Hill Service Station, Millis Used Auto Parts, Countryside Auto Parts and Woonsocket Auto Salvage.
Edgar A. Farland
WOONSOCKET- Edgar A. "Mike" Farland, 79, of Woonsocket, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Centre. He was the husband of the late Lorraine A. (Drolet) Farland.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Edgar J. and Leonie A. (Guay) Farland.
Mr. Farland worked as a Meat Manager for Almacs in Blackstone, MA and in Woonsocket from 1955 to 1992. He was a Pilot at North Central Airport in Lincoln for five years. He was a member of the Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle Club and enjoyed boating and golfing.
NO. SMITHFIELD- Jacqueline V. Laliberte, formerly Jacqueline V. Frigon, 72, of School St., Slatersville, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 after a long illness. She was the former wife of Robert O. Frigon.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Gilberta (Briere)Laliberte of Manville and the late Rene Laliberte.
Mrs. Frigon-Laliberte was a housewife and a lifelong resident of Slatersville. She was a former secretary of the Colonial Village Resident Association and past President of Woonsocket Jay C-Ettes.
Albert W. Dickinson
SCITUATE- Dickinson Albert W. of Scituate passed on Sept. 7, 2011 at Life Care Center, Scituate age 99. He is husband of the late Mary (Vergona), and the late Doris (Gould).
Dylan Joshua Cote
LINCOLN- Dylan Joshua Cote, beloved one day old son of Melissa Walker and Joshua Cote of Lincoln, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence.
Kayden Andre Smith
WOONSOCKET- Kayden Andre Smith, 2 month old, became an angel of God, on September 4, 2011.
Born in Woonsocket, Kayden was the beloved son of David Smith and Amanda LeBlanc.
Kayden is also survived by his paternal grandmother David and Lisa Smith Sr. Maternal grandparents Andre and Jody LeBlanc. Paternal great-grandmother Carol Smith and maternal great-grandmother, Eleanor C. Potter.
He also was the great grandson of the late Harold H. Potter Sr. and Robert Leblanc, and Rejane LeBlanc.
CENTRAL FALLS- Hilda Gonsalves, 91, formerly of Madeira Avenue, passed away Thursday at Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation in Providence. She was the wife of the late John Gonsalves Sr.
Born in Insua, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria Pinto.
She resided in Central Falls for several years, previously residing in Valley Falls.
She leaves her son, John Gonsalves Jr. of Boston, MA.
The family would like to thank Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation for their compassionate care of Hilda.
Robert J. Bouvier
MANVILLE- Robert J. Bouvier, 73, of Old River Rd. died September 5, 2011, in the Home & Hospice Care of R.I. Bob was the companion of 30 years to Linda Pendergast, of Manville.
Born in Whitinville, MA, son of the late Albert C. and Antoinette (Belanger) Bouvier.
Bob worked as a Machinist for D&B Machine in Cumberland, for several years.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
WOONSOCKET- Cecile (Godbout) Richards, 77, of Diamond Hill Rd., passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Thomas D. Richards, III.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Aurore (Curtis) Godbout.
Prior to retiring in 1996, Mrs. Richards worked as a molder for Polytop Corporation, No. Smithfield. She also worked at Tupperware Corporation for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, going to yard sales and spending time with family.
