Marilyn D. Boyle
WOONSOCKET- Marilyn D. (Carey) Boyle, 78, of Woonsocket, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Evan H. Boyle, and her devoted companion Roland "Mitch" Michaud of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket on December 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Earle and Lucy (Masson) Carey.
Jeannette Gouin
LAS VEGAS, NV - Jeannette Gouin, 96 of Las Vegas, NV passed away Dec. 14th 2010 after a short illness with her family by her side.
She was born in Uxbridge, Mass. but spent most of her life in Woonsocket. Jeannette relocated in Las Vegas 7 yrs ago with her daughter Claudette with whom she lived. She was the daughter of Albert and Aurore (Valois) Clement. She was the widow of Arbea Gouin.
She belonged to the Royal Travelers and St Joseph Travelers Club. She enjoyed bingo, cards, traveling, going to Foxwoods and Social Center.

Carol A. Malo
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Carol A. (Beattie) Malo, 57, of North Smithfield, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends, in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Normand L. Malo for thirty six years. They were married August 31, 1974.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Jacqueline (Gousy) Beattie of Lincoln and the late Edward J. Beattie.
Timothy Ryan
BURRILLVILLE- Ryan, Timothy, 68, of Pascoag, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Pauline C. (Cote) Ryan.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Paul and Irene (Lyons) Ryan and step son of Thelma (Wang) Ryan of Bocca Raton, Florida.
Mr. Ryan was a machinist, mechanic and boat builder for many years before retiring. He served in the US Army and lived in Woonsocket before moving to Pascoag 27 years ago.
Michael R. Buteau
WOONSOCKET- Michael R. Buteau 53, of Mendon Rd., died Sunday at the Greenville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Ernest and Gloria (Hall) Buteau. He was a self-employed painter for most of his life.
Michael is survived by two sons Wayne and Justin Ochadleus, a daughter Dawn Buteau all of Fort Myers, FL, two brothers Dennis and Jess Buteau both of Cape Coral, FL, two sisters Sheila Dowdy of Woonsocket and Sharon Winbush of Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews.
John F. Howard
GLOCESTER- Howard, John F., 83, a lifelong resident of Harmony, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Hirst) Howard.
Born in Harmony, he was a son of the late Arthur W. and Nellie (Cook) Howard.

Normand R. Dansereau
WOONSOCKET- Normand R. Dansereau 82, of Logee St. died Tuesday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Muriel (Dagesse) Dansereau.
Mr. Dansereau was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Euclide and Ida (Soucy) Dansereau.
He was a mechanic for Owens Corning Fiberglas in Ashton for thirty years before retiring in 1983. He then worked part time as a security guard for the Woonsocket Medical Center for six years. Mr. Dansereau was member of the Knights of Columbus. Normand enjoyed the outdoors and spent many years camping.
Barbara Lavergne
WARWICK- Barbara Lavergne, 90, of Warwick Ave. and formerly of Plainville, MA and Bellingham died Thursday in the Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of Marcel Lavergne for the past 44 years.
Born in Green Valley, CA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Aires) Dow.
She was employed by the Amprex Electronics Co., Slatersville for 15 years until her retirement.
Besides her beloved husband she leaves a niece Diane Walach and great nephew Craig Walach both of Warwick.
Change of Service
Visiting hours and service for Bernadette M. Gariepy have been rescheduled and will be held Thurs. Jan. 12, 2011 from 6:00-7:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm. In the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket.

NORTH CAROLINA William J. Strojny Sr., 79, formally of Millville Ma. Died peacefully in North Carolina
A Memorial Service and Interment will be in Bourne National Cemetery with Full Military Honors at 11:00 am Jan 14, 2011. All family and friends are welcome to attended.
