Gertrude A. Ethier

MILLVILLE- Gertrude A. (George) Ethier, 90, passed away Wed. Oct. 10 after an illness.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Mon. Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. in St. Marys church, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge.
Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Calling hours at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge will be Sun. Oct. 14 from 5-8 p.m. and Mon. Oct. 15 from 9:30-10:30.

WOONSOCKET- Lucille C. (Delaurier) Sherman, 83, of Privilege St., and long time Blackstone native, died October 9, 2012 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket, with family by her side. She was married to the late John R. Sherman.
Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Jonas and Catherine (Monahan) Delaurier.

MANVILLE- Ruth F. Gousy, 97, of Old Main St., Manville, died Monday evening at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Victoria (Drouin) Gousy. She remained a lifelong resident of Manville.
Ruth was employed in the local textile industry at several area mills including the Manville Jenckes. She later worked at PolyTop before retiring.
Ruth was a lifelong communicant of St. James Church. She was an ardent Red Sox fan and in her senior years became adept at the use of computers and email.
