Madeleine B. Cardin
WOONSOCKET- Madeleine B. (Crepeau) Cardin, 91, 100 Front Street, Woonsocket, passed away February 27 at home, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jules J. Cardin, Sr. married for 64 years.
Born Feb 24, 1921 in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Adgenard Crepeau and Marie Anne (Julien) Crepeau.
Roger Valois
MANVILLE- Roger Valois, 83, of Central Street, died Tuesday, February 28, at home. He was the husband of Estelle (Cartier) Valois.
Born in the Manville village of Lincoln, a son of the late Joseph and Blandine (Valois) Valois, he was a lifelong resident of the village.
Mr. Valois was a mechanical contractor for Manville Mechanical Services, retiring in 2009.
Shirley S. Morris
BURRILLVILLE- Shirley S. (Vose) Morris, 84, of Burrillville, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Burrillville. She was the wife of the late Francis R. Morris, whom she married October 5, 1946.
Born in Cumberland, RI, she was the daughter of the late Ornando F. and Madeline (Slocum) Vose. Shirley lived in Cumberland Hill for 19 years, Berkeley for 39 years and in Burrillville for 26 years.
William David
McDonald
PASCOAG- McDONALD, William David, 57, of Pascoag, RI, expert mechanic, Arc volunteer and Desert Storm veteran, died Sunday morning, February 26, 2012. He was the loving husband of Robin L. (Marnoch) McDonald, whom he married in 1979.
He also is survived by three loving children, Megan Byers, Justice McDonald and Michael McDonald; and 11 grandchildren.
Claire L. Surprenant
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Claire L. Surprenant (Bonin), 72 of North Smithfield passed away unexpectedly, February 27, 2012, at Landmark Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Roger J. Surprenant, Sr. for 51 years and the daughter of the late Armand and Alice Bonin.
She has long since been retired from the textile industry.
