LAGUNA WOODS, CA- Rita M. Danese, nee Charest, wife of pre-deceased John B. Danese, died during the early morning at 12:15 AM on May 18, 2012, in Laguna Woods, CA.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Emilie (Frechette) Charest.
Clem W. LaBine, Jr.
WOONSOCKET- Clem W. LaBine, Jr., 64, died May 21, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket surrounded by family. He was the husband of Pauline (Peloquin) LaBine whom he married April 12, 1969.
Born in Newport News, VA, he was the son of the late Clem W. Sr. and the late L. Barbara (Degnan) LaBine.
Roger A. Desrosiers
BRADLEY, ME- Roger A. Desrosiers, 51, of Bradley, ME passed away unexpectedly on May 18.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, the youngest son of Raymond Desrosiers, Sr. and the late Lucienne Desrosiers.
He was a graduate of Bellingham Mass. schools and University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory with a degree in Music Education, and was an accomplished accordionist. He was a member of several Franco-American genealogical societies.
Robert G. Palardy
WOONSOCKET- Robert G. Palardy 53, died Friday at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Marie Rose (Jasmin) Grange of Hotchkiss, CO, and the late Richard L. Palardy Sr. Robert was a US Marine and served in Granada.
Besides his mother he is survived by a daughter Katie of MA, his stepfather Gene Grange of CO, two sisters, Debra McManus of Burrillville, and Linda Sodaberg of CO, and three brothers, Richard, David and Dennis Palardy all of CO.
Alan A. Knight, Sr.
WOONSOCKET- Alan A. Knight, Sr., 45, of Woonsocket passed away after a lengthy illness Tuesday at Trinity Health Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Therese (Laflamme) Knight.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of George E. Knight of Mansfield, MA. and the late Yvette E. (LaFlash) Knight. He was educated in Mansfield schools.
Alan worked for Town Fair Tire and as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed special family time, watching his children participate in sports, playing with his grandchildren, fishing and the outdoors.
Paula Russell
WOONSOCKET- Paula Russell 76, of 560 Cumberland Hill Rd., died Monday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Harold Russell.
Mrs. Russell was born in Providence and was a homemaker most of her life.
She is survived by her children Michael Russell of Woonsocket, Paul Russell of N. Smithfield, and Debora Morin of Harrisville, grandchildren Shawn, Chrissy, Joshua, Sarah, Jackie, and Christopher Russell, Donna Chavis and six great-grandchildren, and a brother John Besharian of CA.
