DOUGLAS, MA- Alexander, Albertus, E., Jr., "Joe", 67, of Douglas, MA, passed away Thursday May 10, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl A. (Olney) Borders-Alexander.
Born in Glocester, RI, a son of the late Albertus E., Sr. and Ethel (Rich) Alexander.

George L. Guertin
SMITHFIELD- George L. Guertin, 58, of Smithfield, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012 at home. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Shirley A. (Barber) Guertin of Harrisville and the late Louis Guertin.
George lived in Burrillville most of his life before moving to Providence in 2006 and Smithfield 6 months ago. He was a machinist for the former Turex Corp. for 35 years before retiring.
Joyce E. Sevity
SWANSEA, MA- Joyce E. (Steere) Sevity died April 30th 2012 at Mass General Hospital. Beloved wife of Charles C. Sevity.
Born Sept 25, 1935, daughter of the late Job and Loretta Steere.
Oldest of three girls, surviving sister Marcia Stone. Mother of four children Stephen Powell, Susan Nordin, Sandra Powell, and Scott Powell. Grandmother of 12 and Great Grandmother of 16.
Memorial Service being held Saturday, May 12th 2012 at 1:00 at the Berean Baptist Church, 474 Chapel Street, Harrisville, RI

Carpentier
WOONSOCKET- Rev. Robert A. Carpentier, 71, of Cottage St., Woonsocket, was taken home to his Lord on Wednesday May 9, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Anatole and Cora (Armstrong) Carpentier.
Rev. Carpentier was ordained a Catholic Priest on June 3, 1967. He was an avid sports enthusiast, loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love of life.
Pauline G. Rondeau
WHITINSVILLE- Pauline G. (DiBasco) Rondeau, 76, of Whitinsville, MA formerly of Bellingham, passed away on Sunday May 6, 2012 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on November 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Adelio and Loretta (Lambert) DiBasco.
Janet Cournoyer
BLACKSTONE- Janet (Carey) Cournoyer 65, of Bellingham Rd. died Tuesday at Women and Infants Hospital. She was the devoted and loving wife of Marcel Cournoyer.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Blanche (Cabana) Carey.
Janet was an assembler at A.T. Cross for over twenty years, retiring in 2010. She was an avid reader and loved to travel, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

OAKLAND, CA- Eugene H. Farland, 93, Oakland, CA passed away on April 19, 2012.
Born in Woonsocket of the late Joseph and Alma (Cayer) Farland.
George J. Michaud
WOONSOCKET- George J. Michaud 63, of Cumberland Hill Rd. died Thursday May 3, 2012, in Mariam Hospital after a long illness. He was the former husband of Margaret (Charest) Beaudoin of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Gerald and Lena (Marzini). He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Homer L. Lafond Jr.
N. CONWAY, NH- Homer L. Lafond Jr., 73, died Saturday in N. Conway, NH. He was the husband of Claudette (Tellier) Lafond.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Homer L. Lafond Sr. and Lucille M. (Dery) Lafond.
Madelyn Collins
LINCOLN- Madelyn Collins, 91, of Lincoln, died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arnold B. Collins and the daughter of the late James J. and Helen (Rush) Gorman.
She is survived by several cousins.
Mrs. Collins was employed as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for over 37 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated today at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, School St., Albion.
