BLACKSTONE - Dennis C. Pruitt 65, of St. Paul St. died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in San Francisco, CA, he was the son of the late Robert and Lorraine Pruitt. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis was a teacher for forty two years, the last ten years he taught at Good Sheperd Catholic Regional School. He studied to be a Franciscan Brother in Kissemee, FL. Dennis was the past Director of Religious Education at All Saints Parish, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph's Church.
BELLINGHAM, MA - Lucille T. (Vallee) Hardy, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Gerald C. Hardy; they were married on September 4, 1950.
Born on December 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Leda (St. Germain) Vallee. Lucille grew up in Blackstone, MA and graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH. She had resided in Bellingham since 1956, previously living in Blackstone.
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Steven J. Hood, 44, of St. Paul St., died July 11, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of James S. and Nancy J. (Fellenbaum) Hood.
Mr. Hood was an employee of Housing Opportunities, Providence.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Kevin Hood and his wife Maria of Burrillville; his sister Shelley Hood of Providence; and four nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey Hood.
