BURRILLVILLE - Louisa M. "Louise" Giard, 100, lifelong Burrillville resident, passed away on July 18, 2012 at the Overlook Nursing Home in Pascoag.
Born in Oakland, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Maryanne (Levesque) Langlois.
Louise had worked all her life in the textile industry as a mender and in her spare time, she loved to read and do puzzles. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
CUMBERLAND - Rita V. Guertin 86, of Mendon Rd., died Wednesday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of Paul Guertin with whom she married sixty six years ago.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Lucy (Riquier) Richard. Rita worked in the housekeeping department at Verizon for thirty years before retiring twenty eight years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Sr. Citizens. Rita was an avid bingo player and loved to gamble.
