Peter J. Carrara
GLOCESTER- Peter J. Carrara, 79, of Glocester, RI died peacefully at R.I. Hospital October 7, 2013 with his son and daughter-in-law by his side.
Peter was the loving husband of the late Dianne R. (Rania) Carrara. He was the son of the late Peter J. Carrara, Sr. and Sue (Ursillo) Carrara of Providence.
Helen B. Palazini
WOONSOCKET- Palazini, Helen B. 87, formerly of North Smithfield, passed away October 12, 2013 at the Friendly Home.
She was the wife of the late Hugo R. Palazini.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Armand & Olivine (Bergeron) Antaya.
She worked as a supervisor for the Fenwal Electronics Co., in Milford MA., for thirty years. She lived in North Smithfield for thirty years previously she lived in Bellingham and Woonsocket.
WOONSOCKET- Mary (Fostakowski) Janik, 90, of Woonsocket, passed away on Sunday, at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of Edmund C. Janik,
Born Oct. 19, 1922, in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Luka & Anna (Pryhoda) Fostakowski.
William A. Greco Sr.
William A. Greco Sr. 69, died peacefully with the support of his family on Tuesday October 8 in Woonsocket, RI.
Born and raised in Providence, William remained a Rhode Island resident for the majority of his life. He was one of four children of the late Anthony J. Greco Sr. and Violetta M. (Loranger).
He was the brother of the late Anthony J. Greco Jr. and Adelard L. Greco.
Stella L. Pamula
WOONSOCKET- Stella L. Pamula 59, of Cato St. died Friday at Philip Hulitar Center. She was the wife of Joseph Pamula Jr.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Aldor T. and Violet L. (Roberge) Dumais.
Stella was a customer service representative for the former Ames Department Store for seven years. She also worked for several area companies including Tech Industries, and Polytop. She was a volunteer for Relay for Life. Stella loved her family, especially her grandchildren, she was a very loving person and will be sadly missed by all.
Yolande T. Cote
WOONSOCKET- Yolande T. (Hubert) Cote 86, of Woonsocket, died Friday in Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Norman Cote.
Yolande was born in Woonsocket, the daughter of the late George and Flora (Belisle) Hubert and was an assembler for Crest Mfg. in Lincoln for many years retiring in1997.
Yolande is survived by her son Randy Cote and his wife Michelle of Woonsocket, and her two granddaughters; Alissa Cote of Los Angeles, CA, and Amanda Cote of Warwick.
Rita M. Plante
WOONSOCKET- Rita M. Plante 89, formerly of 547 Clinton St. died Saturday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Armand "Pete" L. Plante.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Hector and Aldea (Pellerin) Lemire.
Reynold B. Cochrane
UXBRIDGE- Reynold B. "Renny", "Corky" Cochrane, Sr., 90 of Uxbridge passed away Mon. October 7, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Ardell M. (Wilson) Cochrane.
Corky was employed at the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville, Schnorr Construction Co. in Uxbridge, Helen's Transportation in Uxbridge, and in the 1960's he was the owner of "Corky's" Texaco in Uxbridge. He retired in 1985 after more than 17 years as a heavy equipment operator for the former Rosenfeld Concrete Co. of Hopedale.
Carle N. Miller
Carle N. Miller, 85, of Ferrier St. died Saturday at home. He was the husband of Mary (Delaney) Miller.
Born in Slatersville, he was a son of the late William E. and Alma H. (Nelson ) Miller. Carle was a WWII Army Veteran.
He worked for Rockwell International as a pattern maker for thirty two years before retiring in 1981.
Besides his wife he leaves a brother, William D. Miller of Slatersville, a sister Christine Evans of N. Hampton, MA,and several nieces and nephews, including Robert McManus of Pascoag. He was also the brother of the late Robert E. Miller.
Wilfred J. Gailloux
WOONSOCKET- Wilfred J. Gailloux, 66, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, passed away on Tuesday at Landmark Medical Ctr.
Born, July 27, 1947 in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Gilbert & Gertrude (Courtemanche) Gailloux.
Wilfred was a clerk for the city of Woonsocket Municipal Court for many years before retiring. He was a generous contributor to his favorite charities, he enjoyed cooking, but most of all he enjoyed the company of being with his friends.
