Lillian A. Pennington
NO. SMITHFIELD- Lillian A. (Allen) Pennington, 93, a resident of the Villa of No. Smithfield and formerly of Harrisville, RI, passed away on Tuesday at Landmark Medical Ctr. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur E. Pennigton.
Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John B. & Maude (Trudeau) Allen.
CUMBERLAND- Yvette (Audette) Arnold, 84, of Cumberland passed away on Monday in Oakland Grove Healtcare Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles G. Arnold.
Born in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Denault) Audette. She resided in Cumberland for over 50 years.
Mrs. Arnold worked as a bank teller in her twenties. Later, with her husband Charles, owned and operated The Friendly Tap, Cumberland for over 30 years. Yvette was well known for her soup and great sandwiches.
David C. Hebert
BURRILLVILLE- Hebert, David C., 49, of Mapleville, passed away November 10, 2013 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was the loving husband of twenty years to Kimberly (Lapierre) Hebert.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Theodore Sr. & Juliette Terry (Desjarlais) Hebert.
WOONSOCKET- Brian "Fish" Frechette, Born January, 16, 1968, 45 years old. Passed November 1st, 2013 at Landmark Hospital after a long illness.
He leaves his mother Claudette, father Donald & brother David Frechette.
Burial will be private.
WOONSOCKET- Jacqueline J. (Rainville) Archambault, 84, died November 8, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Archambault.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Frieda (Haueisen) Rainville.
She lived in Woonsocket for most of her life after spending twenty-eight years living in Wrentham, MA and Tuscon, AZ.
Lloyd E. Rhodes
BELLINGHAM- Lloyd E. Rhodes, 85, a lifetime resident of Bellingham, MA, died November 9, 2013. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Dufresne) Rhodes and the son of the late George and Dorothy (Bartlett) Rhodes.
He is predeceased by his brother Burton Rhodes, his sister Beulah Milliard, and his grandson Matthew Rhodes.
Robert V. Ryan
WOONSOCKET- Robert V Ryan, 68, of Welles St, Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI and son to Gabrielle Ryan and his late father Robert V. Ryan. He was the loving 30 year companion to Liliane M. Durand.
He was a 1964 graduate of Woonsocket High School where he played hockey, football and baseball. He was a caring man who was very proud of his Irish heritage. He worked in the restaurant business for most of his professional career was owner of an Irish pub "Ryans Place" in N. Smithfield, RI.
GAINESVILLE, FL- William (Billy) Henry Niles III, was called home on Oct. 26, 2013 at the age of 69 after a brief illness. He died at home in Gainesville, FL surrounded by his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother Yvonne Fortier.
Billy is survived by his father William Henry Niles Jr.; step-mom Shirley Niles; life partner Linda Michel all of Gainesville, FL; sister Susan Maston of Blackstone, MA; daughter Sherry Lynn Russell of Woonsocket, RI.
Ann M. Smith
BURRILLVILLE- Smith, Ann M., 63, of Burrillville, passed away on November 11, 2013, at home. She was the loving wife of Ernest J, Smith III.
Born in Webster, Ma, she was the oldest of seven children and the daughter of the late George and Irene (Lamiotte) Chauvin. Ann worked for Zambarano Hospital for 26 years and she wholeheartedly enjoyed her family and shopping.
Besides her husband Ernest, she is survived by her two children; Holly Douglas and Christopher Smith. Also, she is survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews all of whom she adored.
WOONSOCKET- Raymond E. Gilson III, 73, formerly of San Diego, CA, died Thursday, November 7 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Rose A. (Landry) Gilson.
Mr. Gilson was born in Providence, the son of the late Raymond Gilson Jr. and Ruth (Carson) Gilson. He was a dispatcher for Avis for fifteen years before retiring in 2008. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
