BIDDEFORD, ME- Sophie H. (Banas) Wawszkiewicz, 99, a resident of Biddeford, ME., and formerly of No. Smithfield, passed away peacefully on July 5th at the St. Antoine Residence in No. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Joseph Wawszkiewicz.

MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK- Peter P. Hroszowy, a retired wholesaler/retailer in produce, died Saturday July 6, 2013 at home. He was 68. Formerly of Blackstone, Mass. And Spartanburg, SC.
The son of the late John and Stefania Zaryczna Hrossowyc, he was born on August 8, 1944 in Blackstone, Mass.

ALBION- Lucien J. Pelletier, 90, formerly of School St., Albion, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the loving husband of Ida I. (Floyd) Pelletier. They were married on September 27, 1944.
Born and raised in Albion, he was a son of the late Domina and Clarinda (Lusignan) Pelletier.
Mr. Pelletier served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a Boatswain's Mate First Class on the LCT 590 which was one of the first vessels to land at Omaha Beach during the Normandy Invasion on June 6, 1944.
