NORTH SMITHFIELD- Libro "Lee" Vario, 91, resident of North Smithfield, passed away June 11, 2013.
He was the husband of the late Rosilda "Rose" (Marchand) Vario.
He was born in Woonsocket RI, a son of the late Joseph & Viola (Taglianetti) Vario.
Lee was co-owner of Vario Brothers Home Builders. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; he enjoyed salt water fishing, gardening, and was an avid trumpet player. He was a member of the St. Anthony's Church Holy Ghost Society.
Roger L. Lambert
WOONSOCKET- Roger L. Lambert, 92, of Woonsocket, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Frances A. (Mannigan) Lambert, whom he married in September 29, 1945.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Adelard and Grazuela (Fontaine) Lambert.
Fred J. Bridges
WOONSOCKET- Fred J. Bridges, 87, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2013 at the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Ctr. He was the loving husband of the late Eileen M. (Chute) Bridges.
Born Jan. 3, 1926 in Childersburg, AL., he was the son of the late Fred & Pearl (Gallahar)Bridges, he resided in Woonsocket for many years.
Dorothy Sweatt
CUMBERLAND- Dorothy (Masnyk) Sweatt, 57, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the loving wife of Walt Sweatt.
Born. Nov. 25, 1955 in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Rose (Jaryniak) Masnyk of Woonsocket and the late Paul Masnyk.

Jules P. Laferriere
WOONSOCKET- Jules P. Laferriere, 97, formerly of Grove St., Woonsocket, died Tuesday in Candia, New Hampshire. He was the husband of the late Marguerite (Ethier) Laferriere.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Oscar and Roseanna (Paquin) Laferriere.
He was lifelong resident of the city and had resided with his daughter in New Hampshire for the past several years.
Mr. Laferriere attended Mt. St. Charles Academy.
Julienne Houle
BELLINGHAM, MA- Julienne (Lozeau) Houle, 89, died peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Attleboro Nursing Home, Langhorne, PA, where she was a resident for almost three years.
A New Englander, Julienne "Julie" lived in Bellingham, MA for over 25 years, and prior to that in Albion, Woonsocket and Lincoln, RI, where she was born on January 21, 1924. She was the daughter of Marie and Anatole Lozeau.

Philip E. Higgins
EAST GREENWICH - Higgins, Philip E. "Phil", 70 of East Greenwich, RI passed away peaceful on Saturday, June 8th. He was the beloved husband of Gloria A. (Vozura) Higgins for 44 years. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Philip & Margaret (Campbell) Higgins.
Mr. Higgins retired from Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI as Program Manager of UUV and Mobile Target. He served as a Teacher, Mathematic Department Head, & Athletic Director at Scituate High School.
Robert E. Lambert
UXBRIDGE - Robert E. Lambert, 58, of River Road, died June 7, 2013 at UMass Memorial Health Center in Worcester. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Montanari) Lambert. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Ralph and Noella (Prefontaine) Lambert.
Mr. Lambert owned and operated RL Superior Lawn Care for over 25 years before retiring in 2006 due to illness. Bob enjoyed golfing and fishing and really loved classic cars. He was a former member of I.W.C. in Woonsocket.
Violet C. Leclaire
CUMBERLAND - Violet C. Leclaire 94, of Irene Blvd. died Wednesday at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Camille J. Leclaire. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Clara (Lizotte) Lecroix.
Violet was an assembler for many area Woolen Mills. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and traveling. Violet was an accomplished seamstress.
Judith G. Janelle
CUMBERLAND - Judith G. Janelle, 68, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Normand Janelle for 47 years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Therese (Perrier) Laperle. Judy had a long love of teaching children which included running Kids Country Daycare out of her home for 17 years. She enjoyed sewing, playing pool, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.
