WOONSOCKET- Sister Frances (Violette) Dulude, RJM, 88, was a long time resident of Woonsocket, and a Religious of Jesus and Mary for 67 years. She entered the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary in Sillery, Qubec on August 9, 1946.
Sr. Frances taught at Jesus-Mary Academy, Holy Family School, and the Catholic Regional Junior High School in Woonsocket, at Notre Dame School in Fall River, Massachusetts and at Villa Augustina School in Goffstown, New Hampshire.
Henry A. Tessier Jr.
WOONSOCKET- Tessier, Henry A. Jr., of Woonsocket, passed away June 27, 2013 at the Trinity Health and Rehab Center.
The son of Henry A. Tessier, Sr. and the late Agnes (Leduc) Tessier.
He is survived by his two daughters Amanda Tessier, and Amandalyn Tessier, one son Christopher Tessier, and two grandchildren Braydon Gauthier and Ryan Tessier, he was also the brother of the late Paul Tessier.
He will be missed dearly by his family. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
WOONSOCKET- Elizabeth (Wright) Nealy, 94, of passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Friendly Home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Nealy.
Born in Cobbtown, GA on March 1, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Susie (Lowry) Wright.
Gloria M. Laquerre
WOONSOCKET- Gloria M. (Latini) Laquerre, 84, of Poplar St. died Tuesday June 25, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of Fernand J. Laquerre.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Santos and Dosolina (Alexandria) Latini.
Gloria worked for Finklesteins and Needlecraft and as a cashier for Almacs for several years prior to retiring.
She was a former member of of the YWCA Seniors and St. Joseph's Seniors, and the 1st Tuesday Club.
She enjoyed sewing, dancing, playing Bingo, cards and socializing with friends.
MILLVILLE, MA- Normand "Mike" Marcotte, 80 of Millville, MA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Yvonne (Plante) Marcotte.
Born in Bellingham, MA on August 31, 1932, he was the son of the late Antonio and Aurore (Barrette) Marcotte.
BLACKSTONE, MA- Helen (Farnesi) Charlette, 88, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, MA. She was the beloved wife for 68 years of David P. Charlette.
Born in Providence, RI on May 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Madeline (DiGuiseppi) Farnesi.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Elizabeth Anne (Passarelli) Barker, 86, of North Smithfield, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Thomas Calvin Barker.
Born in Providence, RI, "Betty" was the daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Green) Passarelli.
Elizabeth was a clerical supervisor with Providence Washington Insurance. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed complex crossword puzzles.
Adam J. Thayer
MANVILLE- Adam J. Thayer, 35, of Manville passed away on Sunday, June 23rd at his residence.
Born Dec. 4, 1977 he was the son of David Thayer of Brockton, MA. & Janice (Audlee)
Thayer of Manville, RI. Adam was a self employed contractor.
Besides his father & mother he leaves 2 brothers Colby Thayer of Manville & David Thayer of Raynham, MA. 2 sisters Pamela Thayer of Woonsocket, & Kathleen Thayer of Manville. He was the brother of the late Mark & Kevin Thayer.
Richard R. Pendleton, Sr.
BURRILLVILLE- Pendleton, Richard R. Sr., 62, resident of Mapleville, RI, passed away on June 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the husband of the late JoAnn (Ray) Pendleton.
He was born in Framingham, MA, son of the late Delores Glassey.
CUMBERLAND- Blanche Beauchemin 85, of Diamond Hill Rd. died Monday at home.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Henri and Laura (Lessard) Beauchemin.
Blanche was a molder for The Tupperware Corporation for fifteen years and then retired from Superior Plastics in 1990.
She loved her outings to Twin River, eating out at area restaurants and spending time with her family.
