Wayne W. Rawson
Wayne W. Rawson, 65, passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at his home.
Wayne was born on January 30, 1948 in Providence, R.I. and was the son of the late Waldo and Gladys (Daughtery) Rawson.
Wayne served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had been employed by Pratt and Whitney for 30 years, retiring from there.
Dennis N. Gouin, Sr.
WOONSOCKET- Gouin, Sr., Dennis N., 60, of Woonsocket, RI passed away Tuesday November 26, 2013 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the loving husband of 43 years to Susan (Mandeville) Gouin.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Edward Jr., & Ivy (Curling) Gouin.
Theresa P. Lemieux
WOONSOCKET- Theresa P. (Gilbert) Lemieux, 81, of Flora Avenue died Monday, November 25, 2013 at home. She was the wife of the late William R. Lemieux, who died this past April. Mr. and Mrs. Lemieux were married for 60 years on January 24, 2013.
A lifelong resident of Manville, she was a daughter of the late Frank G. and Mary U. (Scibak) Gilbert.
Mrs. Lemieux was a packer for Narragansett Knitting for 15 years before retiring in 1989. She had previously worked as an eyelet operator for Uniroyal for 19 Â˝ years.
AndrĂ© A. Lamoureux
CUMBERLAND- AndrĂ© A. Lamoureux, 71, of Manville Hill Road died unexpectedly Sunday, November 24, 2013 in Pennsylvania. He was the beloved husband of Irene C. (Pontbriand) Lamoureux.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Lionel and Albina (Lavoie) Lamoureux, he had lived in Woonsocket for 12 years before moving to Cumberland 9 years ago.
Mr. Lamoureux was a machine operator for Speidel for 31 years and later worked as a custodian for the Cumberland School Department before retiring in 2006.
Timothy Michael Hand, Jr.
PUTNAM, CT- Timothy M. Hand, Jr., 31, of Church St. passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Day Kimball Hospital. He was the loving husband of Marie (Trudo) Hand and the proud expectant father of their child due in January.
Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Timothy and Joyce (Lemay) Hand of Pascoag, RI.
Stella K. Curis
JENKINS TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA- Stella K. Curis, age 91, of Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania and formerly of Lincolnton, NC died Friday, November 22, 2013 at United Methodist Homes, Wesley Village Campus, Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania.
Her funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. prior to the funeral at Warlick Funeral Home.
Lucille E. Miller
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Lucille E. (Desplaines) Miller, 77, of Slatersville, died November 24, 2013 in Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Burrillville. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Miller, Sr.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Alice (Frigon) Desplaines.
Lucille worked for thirty years as a teacher's aide for the North Smithfield Public School System. She enjoyed her monthly meeting with her friends to play dominoes, shopping and taking care of her home.
Olive A. Richard
LINCOLN- Olive A. (Mulcahy) Richard, 82 of Albion passed away Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Roger Richard.
Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Blunt) Mulcahy. She resided in the Albion section of Lincoln for over 60 years.
Mrs. Richard was employed as an assistant dog trainer for her son's business for many years.
Olive most loved spending time with her cherished family. She was an avid football and baseball fan.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Emilienne (Pratte) Theriault, 102, formerly of Eddie Dowling Hwy. North Smithfield, died peacefully Friday November 15, 2013 at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lionel Theriault.
Born on May 26, 1911 in Plainfield, CT., she was a daughter of the late Leon and Adeleine (Sanschagrin) Pratte.
Alice M. Laferriere
WOONSOCKET- Alice M. (Farland)Laferriere 88, of Manila Ave. died Friday November 15, 2013. She was the wife of the late Henry Laferriere.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alma (Cayer) Farland. Alice was a textile worker in area textile mills for many years she also worked for Texas Instruments. She was the 1939 Miss American Legion, Belhumeur Duhamel Post.
She is survived by ten nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her siblings, Edgar, Albert, Raymond, and Eugene Farland, Rina Marcel, and Edna Aubin.
