BELLINGHAM- Elizabeth (Thayer) Andrews, 85, a life-long resident of Bellingham, died Thursday, December 19, 2013. She was the beloved wife for 53 years of David E. Andrews who passed in 2010.
Born in Milford, MA on February 1, 1928, she was the daughter of Ruel and Marion (Patrick) Thayer. Her brother, Vincent, passed on in 1996.
Rev. Harold I. Archer
MEDWAY, MA- Rev. Harold I. Archer 70, of Medway, MA died December 17, 2013 at home. He was the husband of Irina (Ivanozna) Archer.
Born in Providence, he was the son the late Lois (Barber) Dusablon and the late Irving F. Archer.
Rev. Archer was a pastor of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Framingham, MA.
He worked in the recovery ministry and was a missionary serving in Russia. He devoted his life to helping others. He also served in the U. S. Army as a combat engineer.
CHEPACHET- Hermance (Audet) Jacob, 98, died December 19, 2013 in Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Centre, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Oscar A. Jacob whom she married October 25, 1947.
Born in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada she was the daughter of the late Phillippe J. and Albina (Leblanc) Audet.
Mrs. Jacob came to the United States in 1923 moving to Fitchburg and becoming a citizen through her father.
BELLINGHAM- James Babiana, 77, of Bellingham, MA died peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. James was diagnosed only eight weeks ago with Pancreatic Cancer. He leaves his beloved wife Irene (Purich) of 50 years and his son Christopher both of Bellingham.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Andry) Babiana.
He was predeceased by his sister Sylvia Fatse of Easton, CT., and most recently his twin sister Virginia Baker of Lincoln, RI.
Lillian J. Chaput
WOONSOCKET- Lillian J. Chaput, 96, formerly of 300 Privilege St. Woonsocket died Wednesday at the Holiday in Manville. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Chaput.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Philippe and Georgeanna (Roy) Gariepy. She was a lifelong resident of the city and had resided at The Holiday for the past several years.
Mrs. Chaput was employed in the local textile industry at several area firms including the French Worsted, Bell Worsted, and the Verdun Worsted mills.
Arline M. Monahan
GLOCESTER- Arline M. (Lamphere) Monahan, 81, of Chepachet, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013. She was the wife of the late Frederick Monahan.
Born in Putnam, Ct., she was a daughter of the late Prescott and Edith (Barton) Lamphere.
Mrs. Monahan was a Nurse's Aide at the Lakeview Nursing Home for 25 years and the Overlook Nursing Home for 10 years before retiring in 2003. She loved all animals, especially her dogs and cats.
Robert L. Brown
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL- Brown, Robert L. "Bob", 78 formerly of Nasonville, RI passed away, Monday December 9th, 2013 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his youngest son Scott, wife Kelly and grandson Tim in their Port Charlotte home. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean H. (Johnson) Brown for more than 46 years.
Port Charlotte was the couple's retirement home for more than 10 years.
WRENTHAM- Richard W. Enegren, Sr. 82, of Franklin St., died peacefully, Monday December 16, 2013 at the Pond Home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Jessie Elizabeth (Garner) Enegren.
Born in Milford on April 21, 1931 the last child born to Edbury Enegren, Sr. and Sarah A. (Stobbart) Enegren, he was a lifelong Wrentham resident.
He is a graduate Bordentown Military Academy and also attended Babson Institute in Wellesley.
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Lucienne (Faubert) Lemay, 77, of No. Smithfield, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of Normand T. Lemay, whom she married October 12, 1991 and the late Arthur T. Wigglesworth. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo Faubert, Sr. and Georgette (Badeau) Faubert.
Lucienne was an inspector for New England Instruments and was formerly a seamstress for Fashion Sports Ware both in Woonsocket. She loved quilting, sewing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Gerald A. Cote
WOONSOCKET - Gerald A. "Jerry" Cote, 86, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, died Saturday, November 16 after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Therese Cote who passed away in 2012. They had been married for 53 years.
Born June 7, 1927 in Fall River, he was the son of the late August and Alphema (Denault) Cote.
