Phillippe Dufresne Sr.
WARWICK- Dufresne, Sr., Phillippe, "Duke", 53, of Warwick, RI, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Kent County Hospital. He was the loving husband of 32 years to Lucille (Laplante) Dufresne.
Born in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Louis and Elsie (Baldwin) Dufresne.
Bernardo Colella, Sr.
OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC-Bernardo "Benny" Colella, Sr. 73 of Ocean Isle Beach, died peacefully Thursday December 30, 2013 surrounded by his family at the Conway Medical Center in South Carolina, following an illness. He was the beloved husband of Mary A. "Bunny" (Hosford) Colella.
Born March 5, 1940 in Dedham, a son of the late Vincent and Mary F. (Scarcella) Colella he was a former resident of Dedham and was a longtime Franklin resident before moving to North Carolina several years ago.
Lisa E. Forestal
MAPLEVILLE- Lisa E. (Boucher) Forestal, 52, of Cooper Hill Rd., died January 1, 2014 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of T.R. Forestal whom she married November 5, 1983.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Honorable Edward O. Boucher Esq.
Mrs. Forestal worked over thirty years as a hairdresser for The Hairpin, Woonsocket. Lisa was a devoted animal lover and owner and was a member of the ASPCA and the Humane Association.
WOONSOCKET- Bernard M. Chamberland, Age 85, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on January 1, 2014.
Born October 10, 1928 in his parents' home in Woonsocket, Rhode Island he was a loving and devoted son to the late Irene (Marcoux) Chamberland and Joseph Chamberland of Canada.
He resided in Woonsocket before moving to Bellingham with his wife and children for 26 years before moving to North Fort Myers, Florida for 14 years and then returning to Woonsocket, Rhode Island for the last 11 years.
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Eugene D. Moorehouse, 97, of North Smithfield, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville, RI surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Wanda K. (Iskierski) Moorehouse for 66 years, who passed away on May 9, 2013.
He was born June 19, 1916 in New Bedford, MA to the late Ella Jane (Terpeny) and George Albert Moorehouse.
Grace D. Pellerin
NORTH SMITHFIELD- Grace D. Pellerin, 89, of North Smithfield passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Normand R. Pellerin.
Born in Franklin, MA, she was the daughter of Aloysius and Mary (Mucciarone) Reardon.
Grace was a member of the Red Hat Society and the North Smithfield Senior Club. She loved art, music, and Cape Cod.
James P. Dwyer Jr.
WOONSOCKET- Dwyer, James P. Jr., 91, of Woonsocket and formerly of Providence, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013. He was the husband of the late Rosalie (Melino) Dwyer.
Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late James H. and Florence (Williams) Dwyer Sr.
Donald L. Daigle
BELLINGHAM- Donald L. Daigle, 49, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013.
Born on November 25, 1964, he was the beloved son of Lucien E. and Rita T. (Laflamme) Daigle of Bellingham.
He was the loving brother of Doris Melville and her husband, Robert of Burrillville, RI, Debra Messom and her husband, Kevin of Bellingham, MA and Dennis Daigle of Medford, OR. He leaves his cherished 7 nieces, 2 nephews and 6 great-nephews.
Paul F. Cote
WOONSOCKET- Cote, Paul F., 53, of Harrisville, RI, passed away December 28, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI, son of Lionel Cote of Harrisville, RI, and the late Pauline (Turgeon) Cote.
Paul worked for the Truck Solution's Co. in North Smithfield. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident and he was a member of the Townsmen Club in Mapleville. He also enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, cards and just enjoyed socializing.
Alice E. Lanctot
GRAFTON, MASS.- Alice E. (Ferrio) Lanctot, 60, of Grist Mill Rd. died peacefully December 23, 2013 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Lawrence Lanctot.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Leo and Cecile (Brin) Ferrio.
Alice worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for Millbury Heath Care, for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
