Lawrence R. Fine
WOONSOCKET- Lawrence "Larry" R. Fine, 62, of Cottage St., died suddenly and unexpectedly of a presumed cardiac event on January 28, 2014, in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI. He was the loving and beloved husband of Karen A. (Christiansen) Fine, whom he married April 16, 1994.
Born in Framingham, MA, he was the son of Ernest (Sue) Fine of San Diego, CA, and Freda Schafer Fine of Bethlehem, PA.
Christian Alexander Savoie
TAUNTON- Christian Alexander Savoie, beloved infant son of Eric V. Savoie and Lilia (Rocha) Schmidt, died unexpectedly at his Taunton home on Jan. 28, 2014.
He was born in Providence, RI on July 28, 2013.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his maternal grandmother, Maria Rocha of Taunton; a brother, Brandon R. Heroux of Woonsocket, RI; a sister, Heather L. Savoie of SC; and many aunts and uncles.
WOONSOCKET- Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Bolduc) Highcove of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at R.I. Hospital on Jan. 29th with her family at her bedside. Betty was the loving wife of her husband and best friend of 43 years to Daniel Highcove.
She was the daughter of the late William & Mary (Mongeon) Bolduc.
PAWTUCKET- Theodore A. Morel Jr., 83, resident of Pawtucket, passed away on January 27, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket.
He was the loving husband of 60 years to Shirley (Fagnant) Morel.
He was born in Bellingham MA., the son of the late Theodore Sr., & Genevieve (Wood) Morel.
Theodore worked as an engineer for the Hasbro Toy Co., for 25 years. He was a resident of Pawtucket for the last six years, previously he lived in Woonsocket, he was an avid fishermen, and also enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Raymond J. Boucher
BELLINGHAM- Raymond J. Boucher, 99, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 25, 2014 with loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Johanna (Winklhofer) Boucher.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on January 27, 1914, he was the son of the late Camille and Mary Louise (Jalbert) Boucher.
Cynthia Rhonda LeBlanc
PORT CHARLOTTE, FL- Cynthia Rhonda LeBlanc (Bruce), 63, formally of Woonsocket passed Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Port Charlotte, FL.
She was the loving mother of 2 daughters Fallon Flynn and Kelly LeBlanc.
Cynthia was a graduate of Woonsocket High as well as a committed employee of the United states Postal Service for the past 25 years. The last ten years she spent along side her father Robert Wood and her 2 daughters in Florida.
She was a cherished member of her church and enjoyed sharing her love with those around her.
Jeanne Doris Cagnon
BURRILLVILLE - Jeanne Doris (Chamberland) Cagnon, 81, formerly of No. Smithfield and Woonsocket, died Monday evening, January 27, 2014 in Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Adrien Norman Cagnon, whom she married May 1, 1954. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Florestine (Carmel) Chamberland.
Roger L. Morin Jr.
HARRISVILLE - Roger L. Morin Jr. 54, of Fox Run Rd, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Roger and Lorraine (Raiche) Morin of Cumberland. Roger was a graduate of North Smithfield High School, and New England Technical Institute, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was an HVAC technician for AmGen for ten years retiring in December due to illness. He previously worked for Landmark Medical Center for fifteen years. Roger was an avid golfer and a former member of the Sayles Hill Rod and Gun Club.
Gertrude T. Tessier
WOONSOCKET- Gertrude T. (Blain) Tessier 90, formerly of Warwick St. died Monday January 27, 2014 at Oakland Grove Health Care Centre. She was the wife of the late Ernest A. Tessier Sr.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Rena (Bouchard) Blain.
Doris C. McKenna
WOONSOCKET- Doris C. (Cournoyer) McKenna, 80, of Woonsocket, RI. passed away peacefully in her home on January 24, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born May 19, 1933 in Woonsocket, RI. Daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Theroux) Cournoyer. She was the devoted wife of the late Jeffrey D. McKenna with whom she shared 60 wonderful years.
Doris worked in the fabric industry for many years. She was loved by everyone, and was the glue that held her family together.
